Ok, finishing about my tenth game (if you wanna call it that) where I just get completely dropped from game play only to end up back in quarters. YES I understand this is a Beta mode, I also understand I've PAID for the opportunity to play through mercenary pack, and its eating up all My AUR on dropsuits, weapons, vehicles, for absolutely no SP or ISK awarded.
Give us the AUR and gear back on game crash, or at least have it award the SP and ISK earned up until being dropped from game play... this is ridiculous. |

totally acceptable and justified rant imo.  he forgot to add that he probably got a leaving penalty on top of all that so he'll end up fighting his way out of ccp scrub server that the awsum matchmaking ccp ai put him in for the whole of next week. i like your cookie cutter thinking ccp. assumption but i'll bet im not far off. |

I have already felt the sting of it, just couldn't put my finger on it :)
Sooooo, looks like continual Assault starters, drop in light (Free) vehicles, and just kill with grill .. :P

You will get ISK when the game finishes and SP too. However lost items will not be returned to you if you lose consciousness or die. It said that in the video at the start. I wonder if that's CCP's customer satisfaction team at work :P
Losin AUR items is frustrating, so think about what you use it on. |

I prefer using my AUR for SP boosting than items like this, because it only takes one gameplay to lose a lot of it.. |

The few times this happened to me I was returned to merc quarters with everything I started the match with? Or it appeared that way anyhow? |

are you serious? saying he gets the aur back doesnt really solve the issue does it. its something that needs to be worked on in this work in progress game. you cant charge people for items then if the game drops them treat is as just another death. |

Hm. My suggestion? Calmly contact the support staff and inquire about obtaining back your ISK, and/or AUR based items that you lost for the round or disconnection. Otherwise calmly await the next build, or wipe. |

maybe not use aurum drop suits and gear? be a real man and only use aurum for things like bp's or implants. |

If this was a once or twice occasion It would be no issue, but like I've mentioned its becoming every other game for me. Now add earlier stated penalty.. Being thrown in with Wolf like pack teams..you have no fighting chance with mere starter suits. when the opposing teams camp at spawn points..
Do this a few times, call in a drop ship to get across map only to be sniped before it lands OR making it across and that silly spiral in the corner pops up mid flight ..(yes you lose it and all upgrades) and I guarantee you you are ready to choke a MF. |

AND you agree every time you start the game that it is not finished so you should EXPECT problems and that part of your job as a BETA TESTER is to report these problems so they can be fixed. You can all complain.... Played 6 games. Dropped 5 times. 5 of them were the freakin Spiky rock map i HATE. 
Oh and me and my mates never got any ISK or SP for those interrupted battles. |

Went back to HQ and my DS was there along with the suits.
When lag makes you hard reset your console (no movement, looped sound, no HDD activity, 2min wait), on the other hand, you lose your stuff and no SP/ISK for you. Two DSes last night lost to game lag-killing me (death by power button), two by lagging for 3 seconds during high speed maneuvers (bump, all aboard dead). |

I have less crashes since I rebuild the database and restored the file system on my PS3.
1. When your PS3 is off hold down the power button, you will hear a beep, keep holding it down till you hear the next beep and it turns off again.
2. Hold down the power button again until you hear two beeps, let off of the button.
3. Menu launches with a list of options. Pick restore file system. Wait.
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 and when the menu launches again pick rebuilding database.
This might not only help for dust, but for any other game that makes your ps crash. |

Did it last build, because reboots gave me problems with FS and console responsiveness. In this there's one map that gives me lag of death, the rest is quite OK, only occasional stutter. Thought about reformatting my system, but meh.
Side point: I've got my first hate-mail on PSN this build, rebuilding database will make me lose those sweet tears. X_X |

And you lot don't get the fact this will be an issue with players come release. Better they do something about it now or let me guess that isn't in the unreal package is it, that would require work lol.
A they need to refund peoples items if they get disconected from the server
B they need to not put any game leaving penalties on the account, yes i read the blue post about their brilliant matchmaking feature (doesn't that come pakaged with the engine btw?) |
