There is a rebranding going on. Betamax as a Sony Trademark ran into hurdles with sponsorship. People who are interested in the ultra-competitive are moving in waves due to various timers, real life schedules, and the like. Those who are more casual will remain with Betamax as a way to keep all you other scrubs in line This is a difference in attitude and logistics, Betamax will still be a name to pay attention to. |

It will continue as a more casual corp. Some of our competitive members are moving. We ran into real trademark issues with the name Betamax as sponsored team, therefore our talented members are simply desiring a new identity to keep our options open. Betamax will continue to thrive, but a lot of familiar faces are staying together to be the very best, like no one ever was, to ca... wait, wrong game. Anywho, nothing to see here, carry on the face pew pew. |

Spys. We knew we had them. That is all.
On a serious note, with the recent stream of applicants, not all are ready to move on and we didn't want to alarm anyone until plans are finalized. |

This is true in some senses, but to the layman it is not. If you know Betamax history, it will feel that way (so that's why I talk about it that way) but the new corp is not directly affiliated, although it is officially endorsed as an avenue for our competitive branch to stay focused and keep options open. |

Sorry for missing this before. I know it's a joke, but it's not serious at all. I'll have to edit the "SPAIS! EVERYWHERE!!" Post if it is too confusing. |

Nickles Jester wrote:Noc! important hope you see this, the point you made earlier about Betamax being copyrighted is a valid argument and I'm not contesting that. However I did some research and found that Imperfects is copyrighted as well so you have just as much trouble with that as with Betamax. I can't send a direct link to the page because it will say expired session so go here Copyrights Search for: Imperfects Search by: keyword then under the crystal clear link should be link 6 under the marvel copyrights and it's copyrighted as the name of a song. Just thought you guys should know with that current name you will likely face as many problems as you would with BetaMax.
Any name right now is temporary. But thanks for the heads up |
