Hi,

I have a mic that works perfectly fine in every other game on ps3, when I "Enable Voice Chat" on the "Squad" tab (or any other comm. tab) my internet crashes immediately for PS3/laptop/everything and I get the message about "lost access point". There is no problem at any point during the game ( i.e. gameplay audio works), but as soon as I enable the voice chat for any communication it crashes immediately (router resets etc...), so I cant even turn it on to just hear others talk.

I sent in a support email and they said I could follow updates on this forum, there are plenty post regarding issues with mics needing multiple restarts to work, but I see no post addressing actually having the internet completely disconnect just from enabling voice chat.

I understand this is a beta test and the whole point is to expose the issues to address, I just want to know if this particular issue is being addressed or if others are having similar issues (NOT with mics needing multiple restarts to work, but actually having internet disconnect)

i place my ps3 in the dmz of my router and have my ps3 with a static ip, dmz just opens all ports up so you dont have to worry about forwarding them properly. just make sure your ps3 has a static ip so none of your other devices ever get placed in the dmz as it might not be safe for a computer. for a game console though it is perfectly okay.
