War is hell. We had barely been on that godforsaken rock five minutes when our corp encountered heavy resistance. Our squad had secured C and were digging in as Swiss Bank barked orders over the Comms. SYST3M OV3RLOAD and ZEROBLOOM were making a push on A, but the enemy was waiting for them.

Swiss ordered ZERO's crew to flank the objective as a squad of reds opened up on us from the north. In a flurry of gunfire, we dispatched 3 of the attackers, but the 4th cut through my armor before I could drop him. ADAPT reported in that his crew had secured B and gained an orbital as Swiss rounded the AA platform, dropped the last attacker on our position, and pulled me to my feet.

As I regained my balance, SYST3M's voice broke through the Comm chatter. "****! We got a tank and two heavies with HMGs. We need help up here!" Joe called to ADAPT as a straggler popped up at C and I cut him down. Our AI immediately chirped that we too had an Orbital. The rest of our Squad quickly took up defensive positions around Swiss as he dropped to one knee.

With a single word, he entered a command on his wrist pad: "Fire!"

The clouds over A ripped apart as a pair of bright burning lights slammed into the ground, obliterating everything in their wake.
