Gonna update this thread every now and then with interesting(to me) and funny(also, to me) tales of my adventures playing in the Scout suit with a emphasis on Sneaky Kung-Fu treachery.
Now I know that the Scout suit is at a severe disadvantage vs everything and the stealth parts of Scout gameplay are incomplete, but I love the sneaky playstyle so much that i will try my best to make it work until the true stealthiness is bestowed by the CCP gods. (besides I'mma get all my stuff back at the next build anyway)
my first little tale is a tale of two snipers.
I tracked this guy, found him, found out how he got to where he was and SLOWLY, STEALTHILY (as much as possible) made my way to his sniper perch. There he was, just a shootin' away without a care in the world cause well...nobody knew where he was shooting from, and he could duck under some cover if some silly countersniper lucked up on a shot on him.
Little did HE know.
So I climbed the ladder to his hidey-place, and there he was. back turned, eyes in the sniper scope, no awareness of his surroundings.
I coulda shot him with my SMG. I should have. but I didn't. I carry Nova Knives for a reason. To stab unsuspecting snipers with. It is very gratifying to gut the little weasels while they have their faces buried in their scopes.
So, quietly I holster my SMG, and whip out the Knives, and i creep forward, knives ready for assassinationing. i get within two more steps of where I need to be to stab him and...
BOOM. Another sniper headshots me from across the way. Hater.
I'm saving a pair of Knives specifically for that guy. |

So lemme tell you about these two guys I came across...
I jump down from my MCC and head off in a full sprint to a Null Cannon.
of course, I didn't sprint the WHOLE way, that would go against every sneaky thing I stand for.
I made my way, creeping from cover to cover till I got there safely. Thank God for profile dampening.
Creepin', sneakin' up the stairs to the Null Cannon when I see...two sons-of-a-matari materialize there.
I hope they didn't see me as I back away slowly.
"Hey! Free Warpoints!" I hear, which means: Yup, they saw me. Crap.
They immediately open fire with their Assault rifles.
Me? i'm not just gonna stand there in one place and die. Cloning is expensive. And painful.
And as any good Spy knows, when you are compromised, haul ass.
I hop the rail and take off. They both follow, Assault Rifles blazing full auto, only a few shots actually hitting me. I am at a full sprint, dodging between obstacles. Big piece of metal here, Building-that-I-have-no-clue-what-its-for there, whatever I can hide behind to block the overpowered AR spray.
Taking damage, but managing to stay alive by the skin of my teeth. I think thats what they used to say.
I run a good ways and I slow down to see whats going on while my shields recharge. Suddenly bullets whiz past my ears, and I'm off to the races again. Did I run across someone else's line of fire? Nope, same two guys chasing me. You'd think they woulda given up by now, but noooooooooo.
I hop a guardrail, sprint around a structure and take a peek. sure enough, they are still back there, and still firing. Amarrian God, those ARs have some range on them. Take a quick peek at my radar and it brings a huge grin to my face. Got em right where I want em. or something to that effect.
I take off again, this time with a purpose other than just surviving. I jump OFF the structure I was on, over the rail, and take off in a full sprint, right past a squad of friendlies. They look back at me with puzzled expressions, and then the bullets come, and they figure it out.
They open fire, the two guys chasing me die. In the crossfire, someone gets a lucky shot on me, and I drop. Logi wakes me right back up. Logis do God's work.
And thus ends the tale of the two guys that chased me all over the battlefield. |

I took aim. Waiting for the sway to stop and getting a solid bead.
I see him put away his SMG and wait for him to get as close as possible for maximum lulz, then...
BOOM. I head shot him from like across the map.
No taking credit for headshots you didnt make.
Get your own, your own ya heard? |
