the blaster is completely worse in every way, its probably worse becase it lacks splash or lack of accuracy. using a blaster is like going shotgun range with a lazer rifle to compair it to something. |

back before blasters were fashionable me and Eternal started using blaster somas/madrugars and were rippin tanks apart
while also now having one of the better tracking abilities blasters are awesome |

Blasters have higher DPS and are more reliably aimed at a distance. Missiles scatter and have travel time, so even if they did do more damage than blasters overall they'd nonetheless miss more. Missiles might be better against evasive infantry at a large distances, but blasters are better against vehicles. |

All missile turrets, small and large, need to have a 3-5 shot clip with a reload time. Right now there's no downside to manage, it's all spray and pray.
They need to make it so the advantage to a blaster is continuous fire. maybe a longer heat-up time with a greater penalty for overheating might make it better - along with a tighter spread the higher the heat-up similar to the HMG to draw people into that dangerous risk/reward area. |

LAVs don't count, only silly people use LAVs. I'm talking about real vehicles.
More seriously, of course missiles are better in LAVs. LAVs move too quickly to reliably aim blasters. Ditto for dropships probably, although I'll admit I haven't gunned a dropship since before the blaster splash was added. |

what splash? and also you're basicly saying that there shoud not be any gallente turret for lavs and dropships |

Cycled missile maybe. From what I've seen, missiles don't fire quickly or accurately enough to keep up with a decent LAV driver. |
