Everything that has a slope in this game is way too difficult to navigate across. I always find myself getting stuck on a hill while attempting to climb to the top, and the fact that fall damage is broken and causes you take large amounts of damage for getting stuck on a slope for too long doesn't help at all. There's also the fact that running out of stamina causes you to lose the ability to jump which makes it even more difficult to navigate through the terrain... |

Agreed that slopes could be better. At least, the ones that aren't so steep shouldn't be so difficult, but then again if they were all easy to climb it might invalidate some of the more defensive positions in the game.
That said, I agree that some tweaks in the terrain are needed.
Oh, and yes, the massive amounts of damage we take to our shields from some rather small falls is dumb, and should be changed. |

Yeah...fall damage currently is determined by air time. The longer you don't have your feet on the ground, the 'faster' you are for the game, even if you are hovering above a slope. When you then reach ground again, you take tremendous amount of damage or even die. I sometimes encounter spots where I never reach ground again. I am stuck, but can still turn. When I look through my scope, it is swaying like crazy and I hear the wind in my ears...the only way to unstuck is to suicide. |

Also sick of getting "stuck" in certain areas simply because of a change in gradient. When that happens you have no choice but to suicide because you can't move or jump your way out. |

Yep, slopes are horrible to navigate. If it isn't slipping down slopes and wasting a bunch of time, it's getting trapped in bad geometry with the falling sound playing and having to suicide to get free. It's all pretty terrible. They need to clean up the otherwise passable parts or something to make them less likely to get you stuck trying to go up them, at least. |

there should be a climb mechanic that lets us better get up slopes, maybe it could eat up a bit of stamina |

You mean the ability to "Climb", as if one had hands? Yes, that would be nice. |

That would be a great addition and yes it should ofcourse take some stamina to do it. However it has to be on hills and not on walls as we cannot have bunches of spiderman guys along the walls ;) Well, my point is, only on hills and montains, not on houses or built things like pipes etc. |

Perhaps they could put in a new skill to fix this? "Passive Inertia Dampeners" that decrease the amount of fall (and mabey impact?) damage recieved. Not sure if i like or dislike the idea of be able to climb. |

ive had a similar issue with hills near buildings and getting stuck in the air and falling
ive found tho if u open the map and close it the game puts u back on the ground but depending how long u took in doing that depends on how much fall dmg u recieve |

I found that someone falling is very hard to shoot. I was trying to snipe the guy but no matter where I aimed he just kept falling. Has anyone tried this with a close combat weapon? |
