Don't know bout y'all, but I am finding from my personal playing experience that the new build seems to be very stable with a complete lack of freezes--soft or hard--and no invalid fits. I honestly have not seen either of these problems in the Codex build.
I've probably had the most fun in DUST 514 last night, squading with my fellow Zion TCD corp mates while enjoying consistently great fun, match after match. No freezing and no bad fits.
Now, if we can just get some real bonafide corp battles rollin, I think we can really have some fun. |

i agree, and the instability was the worst part of last build imo.
i still get the occasional freeze and mic bug, but it has definitely improved. |

Stability & hit detection are great. From a technical viewpoint, this build is better than any before. For actual enjoyment of the game not so much.
Like you say though Jae, playing with groups is always good fun. The social aspect of Dust is what really sets it apart from any other game. |

Not really, I'm still getting god awful lag, usually on the 5 control point map. In fact I just had 2 full blown crashes on there, both whilst spawning in. I hope that isk/sp reward on disconnect feature is in and working. Most games I have even the announcer is stuttering on every word the lag is so bad.
And no, I didn't have this problem in the last build. |

The '2-second load lags' or whatever they are are back in FORCE now, and I don't like it.
However, this is balanced out by BEING ABLE TO CHOOSE OUR GAMETYPE, which makes me excessively happy! The 'server not found' bug is still there (though now it has an invalid error message) but is far less frequent. It still crashes or randomly logs you out, but that seems to be on the order of 1 in 10 games instead of 1 in 3.
I've seen the Invalid Suit bug twice. Out of a week of playing? That's pretty good. It used to be twice ever couple of hours.
So far I'm impressed with the increased stability and heartily approve.

Yes I can hardly play a skirmish because of the ridiculous lag. |

I just had a hard freeze last night.I think it was the first time that I froze in a match since the update,but on larger skirmish maps,I still get pretty bad lag at at times.Other than that,it's better than the last build by a country mile. |

I report no real problems US-Central. Some lag and framerate issues, but I attribute that to being on the end of a cable run and having to deal with local and regional internet traffic. I haven't seen any of the glitches from the previous builds (yet - knowing I've probably jinxed myself by reporting "no problems"). I get a few audio weirdnesses, but can't say anything about microphone problems since hardly anyone uses a mic. Almost had a freeze, but waited a few seconds and wound up back in the MQ. In the beginning I had no problems with the CODEX build, just now there was some frame stutter upon encountering enemies up close, getting weir ass icons all over my personal quarters while having some terrible low res graphics in personal quarters and having purpleish coloring were it's supposed to be chrome on guns and suits while playing the game.
If you try to get into the map overlay when you respawn (smashing the buttan) you sometimes end up with a black screen when exiting the map, only way I found you can fix it is to get shot.
and then I haven't even begun to talk about the control layout on keyboard and mouse combo's and not being able to change it, pressing X to throw a grenade, really? |

Stability is great and I absolutely love the new tower structure (some of my favorite battles were in and around it). Frame rate seems to be worse this build though. |

I am reading this looking at a frozen "DEFEAT" sceen wondering how long to leave it before I do a hard ps3 reboot. Happens regularly. Invalids seem gone for me but game freezes meh. |

So far I have only been booted because of DC from play station network.
Turned out it was my ISP not sony or CCP.
The one time I got a black screen after respawning and going to a map. Sure enough it came right back.
So far this build has been crash free for me. Am appreciating it. |

Been playing quite a bit recently and have only encountered 1 crash on level load. Otherwise pretty solid and MUCH better than last build. I'm looking forward to when this game is 100%. |

Different parts of the country/world? Other players with bad connections?

Hiya everyone.
Just had my first ever game - got a kill in - whoo!
Serious note: when I died, the screen "pulsed" dark and bright like a heartbeat - the death phase I think. However, I never respawned. It was at the bottom of a ladder next to a huge tower in skirmish. The only count down was the normal "round going to end" count down.
It was odd, but random for my first game. Tho implied in the above posts I gotten it easy. |

I believe overall connection of all players has an impact on the framerate when I'm on that certain map with 5 objectives. I hope they can fix this as eventually I want to be playing on slow paced battles with the red line size increased. |
