I would think that, when they are put in, they will be helpful in piloting dropships and the one man fighters that are supposed to be added later. |

Probably to give bonuses for driving/piloting just about any of the vehicles.

I'm guessing that Aircrafts will be in the game and Pilot Dropsuits will be suitable for it. I notice on the loading screen that one of the icon labels that says Light Aircraft, Medium Aircraft, and Heavy. |

Pilot dropsuits have an additional skill to learn, lamp post evasion 3% per level. |

This I think.
It'll probably have Pilot modules that can only be fit onto these types of suits. I'm basing this on the fact that apparently the same will happen with the Crusader suits once they arrive, giving bonuses to the whole squad and using crusader only modules to do so. |
