As it is Tanks are weak to say the least and expensive
The new activated shield harderners are okay at best, they can offer 90% active resistance for 8seconds or so not the full 10 if you take in activation time or 30-60% when ever you activate them on ther own or together but the cooldown time for 30sec can kill it
WBS strikes atm can pretty much kill any gunlogi and the fire rate of WBS is damn fast, you see the light and then bam ther is no delay and even then activating all shield harders and booster doesnt seem to do much and the tank is still slow if you use nanofibers which put your speed upto 31 m/s and even then someone can spam 3 strikes one after anopther and it will catch you because the HAV is slow at turning and the WBS has a big area
The propultion mods dont seem to do much but im hoping to test out the low slot ones at sometime
So my question is what about OB and where do they fit in?
OB are going to be bigger and hit harder over a larger radius but other than tht the WBS is more than enough as it is because it can kill a well fitted tank easily enough because it instantly hits and 2 can do th job if it escapes just save them up
Should the WBS strike power be reduced so that it really only kills LAVs and infantry and maybe causes damage to a HAV but still needs AV to really put in the most damage so to destroy the tank AV is needed and also OB strikes
Tanks as it is have no place on the battlefield even tho yes WBS are being boosted but even then you only need 1 WBS to cause a significant amout of damage and 1 AV guy to just hit him once and its all over
The active shield is okay but it doesnt last long enough and the cooldown is too much, id rarther have an active shield like in EVE if im honest and stick 3 Adaptive Invulns on it which may only give 20% and no cooldown so i can perma run it but i feel AV ppl would cry even tho they have had a massive buff and tanks massive nerf
I do feel OB should be used to remove the tanks tbh, WBS should cause damage to the tank but not basically kill it because it takes the place of the AV person since WBS are easily to get even when playing as it is
If WBS WP cost is increased to like 5k then AV is brought back into play with a tank, remove the extra 20% buff for the SL, but back passive resists back to normal for shield and damage controls, active shields need tweeking i would like active adaptive invuls like in EVE and no cooldown, same for the armor tanks too
Thoughts?

Its not from orbit tho
Its from the warbarge, the strike alone shouldnt cripple the tank in one hit, puts AV out of business |
