not sure if i can ask but im asking anyway
1. Will there be a campaign just like the normal eve online ones? I mean like you can help eve players do ship to ship takeovers, help them kill enemies with ship cannons, take over bases and that sort of thing.
2. Will dust514 only take place on planets or do we also get a role in space combat? Like ship to ship combat and such.
3. At the moment we can only order things, can we in the future make things as well?
4. Can we take planets over? To make our own base and develop our own armies
5. Will we be mercenairies forever, or can we become part of the npc corporation or our own? Will we rise in ranks and get missions from them.
6. Can we do all of the above in all sectors, or just nullsec?
Sorry but i just had to ask. I only played a week trial of eve, a long time ago, and just purchased the dust beta. Im enjoying it so far but i just dont see the connection between dust and eve players apart from some communication. Thanks for reading

Apparently you can ask...
1. There will be PvE drones combat, but I don't think there will be a story campaign, at least not at launch
2. Currently only planets are planed (and only temperate ones). Other things like space stations or ships might follow in a later expansion
3. no idea, probably not at launch. However the economy is planed to become a player economy, without NPCs offering stuff, so probably there would be some manufacturing capabilities. They might stay EVE-side, though...
4. Yes, in NullSec we can take over districts to gain resources for our corporation/alliance. HighSec and LowSec will stay NPC property. Structures on the districts are fixed, player corps won't be able to build or upgrade them. We should be able to call in some turrets or similar during a battle, they won't be persistent, though. They will not be there the next time you fight on the same map.
5. You can join or create corporations, but you will still be considered mercenaries, at least for EVE players. They hire us/our corps to invade planets for them
6. All but taking things over is available in all sectors, as long as it is in the game. Drone combat might only be available outside NullSec. Just speculation, though |

Well said, I thought I was going to have to write a whole story, but you summed it up well. |
