Not everyone will agree with my thoughts but some will. I'd play Dust more if these possible deficiencies were improved.
Dust graphics are extremely low quality. I don't know many PS3 games with so little quality. Even MAG which many would say had very low quality graphics would be an extreme improvement. Section 8 Prejudice which Dust seems very much alike also had better graphics as well and it may have been below MAG's quality.
The scopes are very jerky when compared to smooth moving COD, Battlefield, and MAG red dot scoping.
It's basically a very low quality version of Battlefield 3's Conquest game mode which means teams are no longer defending their location. Everyone is attacking. In Dust's story, corporations are to defend their own planet but they'd still be attacking with the current build. The first build didn't have this issue as one team was a dedicated defender and the other was the attacker. (I compare Dust to BF3 due to its larger maps and slower paced combat than COD's Domination game mode)
Huge empty maps which take a long time to get to the action so if you die just as you get there, you have to make that long walk all over again. This means players have a reduced frequency of intense fire fights and more running which is boring, at least for me. Smaller maps would remedy this and reduce memory needs which would be better used for improved graphics. The large maps are barren anyway so players aren't missing out on beautiful scenery. (I suppose larger maps are more for the vehicles but even in ambush mode's smaller maps, the vehicles operate just fine without the large area around the central complex).
Final Note: The first build was my favorite build but I don't think it was appreciated as much by the majority of players. I thought all the guns worked well in that build and the dedicated attacker and defender work best with CCP's original concept of defending your planet. As enthusiastic as I initially was about Dust 514, I don't believe it's near ready to be released without a complete overhaul. That likely will not happen so I wish Dust the best of luck, it will need it.
