Greetings humans,
In order to help us in fixing technical issues, would be nice if you can send us a couple of info at [email protected] along with the description of your problem. DON'T POST YOUR IP HERE, thank you!
1. IP address
2. Date/Time GMT
3. PSN region
4. Your DUST514 Locale
5. Frequency
FAQ
1.
Q:"Hey hey hey! How can I find my IP address?"
A: Open your PlayStation3 Internet Browser under the Network menu in the XMB. Select the magnifying glass on the top-right corner. Select Google under "looking for more?" column on the right. Write "my ip" in the search bar and press "Search". Pick one of the first websites like WhatIsMyIp.com and that big number is your external IP address, i.e. the information that we need :)
Please don't send us the IP address that you find under your PS3 intenet settings because that is your internal one!

Q: "What is the current GMT?"
A: Follow the procedure listed above and look for "GMT" or visit http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/
3.
Q: "PSN region?! I'm not sure if I'm in US or EU..."
A: Go in the PlayStation Network menu and select Account Management. Now select Account Information and then Address. The last line of your address is the Country/Region. Sony uses two regions.
Countries within the North American region are: US, Canada, Mexico
Countries within the European region are: Australia, New Zealand, Croatia, Czech Rep., Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, UAE, UK, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine

Q: "What do you mean with "Locale"?"
A: Tell us if you are playing in English, Italian, Spanish, German, French, Russian or Japanese.
5.
Q: "Frequency? Like "how often"?"
A: Yes! Use the format that you want but try to be clear. Thing like often, sometimes, 4/5, 3 times out of 10 are acceptable and useful.
Example of a correct report (with silly comments):
Hi,
When I'm driving my HAV I'm unable to open the NEOCOM (text and drive it's not good!).
1. 127.0.0.1 (there is no place like home)
2. 13:37pm (such a nerdy hour)
3. Saudi Arabia, therefore EU (Road trip to Rome this weekend! whoo hoo!)
4. Japanese (because!)
5. 10/10
I will add more useful info if we need them. I'll leave the post open for questions about the information to include and/or if you guys have any other suggestion about it.

Suggestion: clear up the method you want bug reports.
I say this for two reasons. First, because I had previously submitted a petition in exactly the format you are describing here, and got a form letter back saying in effect "stop bothering us and go post your bugs on the Dust forum, scrubby." Has this changed within the last couple of weeks? Also the petition system has a feature to log in to the EVE site for feedback. You might want to mention to everyone to ignore it if it is not set up for Dust yet.
Second, there's already a sticky here saying bug reports are to go to the QuestionPro site. I think posting two different methods is just going to cause people to ignore both methods and continue posting everything on the forum, where it gets quickly lost in the wallawallawalla of the ignorant emo rage from frustrated teenagers.
Is there a difference between what you want in each format, or are you just undecided on the best method for reporting issues?
I'd like to help, but need clear direction.

im having major issues with my mics. i played 2 weeks without mics and emailing ccp (which gave me this link) over and over about the problem. i have all the setting correct and i have bought uvt's as well. push to talk is off, voice chat is on. the little cha icon does not even appear beside my name or any one else for that matter.getting frustrated, could really like a tech or developer to look at my account. i am very addicted to this great game, so any and help is appreciated. email me for ip. That's funny... I've been seeing your posts around the forums! Yah I don't know what to tell you. If you want the devs to merely be aware of bugs, I think the best thing you can do is just leave them on the forums somewhere. They'll get to them in their own time. If you want an immediate fix, create a funny and offensive bug montage of narrated in-game video and send it to all the game review sites. The more you know .-+:*-¿-¿*:-+..-+:*  |

i disconnect everytime i activate voice chat in "corp" tab. all i have to do to talk in team or squad chat is turn on my mic. have uvt please help. |

Have you tried to turn chat on for your squad or team? this has solved my problems before. select your squad chat to pull a menu, then activate voice chat |

I dont no if this is a tech problem but its doing my head in! why does the HMG have a big circular target? to actually do damage you need the center point right on the enemy, so why the big target? is it an aiming issue or is it just another "one of those things" ye like to do. get rid of the big target or fix it so when an enemy is inside the circle, not the dot in the middle, he gets hit! |

Worth noting, CCP:
Most of us have a minimum of three account IDs in your universe, and you need to be specific about which one is which. In fact, I think sending an email to everyone that has an account reminding them what their ID is and giving them a password reset link might be a good idea.
For example, the DUST forum login is clearly a Sony authentication screen, so we know to use a PSN account.
But the DUST ticketing system uses an EVE authentication screen (it says EVE right on it), which I presume requires a DUST login. I'll be damned if I can even remember setting up a DUST login, and AFAIK there is no screen or email anywhere that will remind me what it is. So, that petition is basically in a black hole and I'll just keep filing new ones, I guess.
And of course, the login that DOES work in the EVE authentication is my EVE account, which is not connected to my DUST characters or my petition. So... there's that. |

Can somebody please fix the top step of nearly every stairs in this game I keep gettin stuck and have to jump it ! Iv been killed so many times because iv to try jump up it after wastin stamina runnin up to them, I'm running a heavy suit so I'm slow enough as it is nevermind tryin to scale stupid steps! |

I am disconnecting frequently from the servers not the PlayStation network. I even had my provider come out and completely redo the internet setup. This has been happening since the Uprising 1.2 update.

CCP I'm really getting pissed off now because you guys are not doing anything about this problem nor responded after I gave you information. I just DC'ed in a battle a total of 30 times in 3 days and not a damn thing was done about it. I'm not the only guy with this problem yet nothing is done about it. Again this has been happening since the 1.2 update fix this |

Just started playing again after 5 months (internet got disconnected). When I go to start a battle, it scans, finds one (always 0/32) and then says "Unable to connect to PSN, please check your connection" and then logs out. It also does this when I turn on my mic for corp chat. It's disconcerting, especially since I've been looking forward to getting back into the fight after five months. |
