Just curious, are you here because you're a fan of, or currently playing, EVE? Or because you're a fan of MMOFPS?
I'm not a huge FPS guy myself. I'm mostly here because of the connection to the EVE universe and its players. That said, I do like the way this game puts you in charge of your own stats, with the SP system. |

Issa, do you think you'll get back into EVE once Dust is released? I can't make up my mind between starting my own EVE account, or just keeping in touch with current EVE players. |

I'm here because I'm a fan of hard science fiction, and large scale FPS, low bullet damage FPS, games with depth, persistent worlds. This game is the closest thing to my ideal game, I really hope its fun when it releases officially. |

I don't normally play FPSes. Running in circles and bunnyhopping while maintaining perfect accuracy is a skill I lack, and one I have no interest in developing, so any time I go toe-to-toe I die. Quickly.
I do, however, love EVE and I love flying, which is why I go for dropships.  |

I'm here because I love Eve, been playing since 2007. Also like FPS's such as Mag, PS2, Faceball2000, Goldeneye ect. I really like Dust despite its bugs and problems. This is the first beta I've ever been in, and its fun watching the game evolve. |

FPS. EvE has the worst combat of any space game ever IMHO. If it had Wong commander style controls I'd love it. But I don't.
I've loved FPS since Doom. It's why I get so angry in so many threads. EvE and FPS coulndt be more different.
Edit: pretty sure I typed wing commander but nvm... |

Never played EVE, but kept up with what was going, like reading a never ending story. Dust is my first FPS, but I liked what I saw of Dust when announced back in 09. |

Used to play eve a lot, just found it wasn't really for me. Kept seeing teasers for DUST, got excited. Well, it was THE GAME I was looking forward to. Now it's more of I don't buy full retail games cause they're too expensive. |
