This comes on the heels of many requests for more ISK from matches.
The militia fits are surprisingly competent. If a duster develops their strategies, tactics, and gun game all they will truly need is a militia fit or a slightly modified militia fit. The people who want enough ISK to be able to run purely modded classes every game don't deserve any ISK. SP, intelligence, and gun game is where it is at.
Heavily modded classes are for corp battles. They will be expensive to operate, and they will be highly specialized for use in high-teamwork environments (corp battles).
The ISK situation is fine. |

i do kinda agree with this. that being said getting a bit more isk so we can buy and test different specialized fits would be nice to do. since you have to test how fits works before you deploy them in corp battles.
Good point. In the beta, having more ISK will help us test out the balance of all the items, weapons, and modules.
Once the Dust launches, I think the amount of ISK earned should be toned down to where it is now (give or take). |

True, but imo if someone is going to spend that much money to keep modded loadouts, then more power to 'em. They are funding the game for me |

Cooper Eudaemon wrote:For me it isn't about buying equipment. I'm sitting on 200,000 SP that I have no use for because I can't afford skillbooks. Looking at an average per-match payout of $40,000 ISK, it's going to take me 11 matches before I can afford the skillbook for grenades--and in the meantime, I can't buy anything else--unless I want to spend real money on Aurum, of course.
For a starting character, the current payouts are cripplingly low.
Yea, see that's my point. I'm not even close to the best player in dust and I am consistently between 5-7 million ISK. Given the reset that's not true anymore, but it will be in a couple of weeks. |
