The caldari masss driver could just be little more than a rocket propelled grenade which would go perfectly with it's designers.
Think about it being highly similar in look to a swarm launcher but with different stats such as it having more ammo per mag, higher velocity, decent splash, slightly lower or equal rof, and some kind of sight such as the one on the Ar.
As for a gallente one, I'm uncertain of how it's design could work other than it being railgun based.
Last but certainly least, the amarr mass driver could work like a fragmenting laser that burst into scrambler like shots from the center of the impact location
Any thoughts? |

We really need to do a serious debate on how drones should be handled, i personally find it should be like eve where it doesn't interfere with my main guns but most would disagree, i recommend you start a thread about exactly how drones should be handled as far as carrying them goes |

we kind of beaten the horse many times and we still haven't agreed on anything. honestly i don't think drones should be used on the battlefield. they are bulky and you need a much more advanced neural network to control them. something mercenary clones shouldn't have. it's not cheap and shouldn't be cheap.
I could see drones being ai controlled, or requiring input for standard commands but it's up to ccp |

there are story reasons AI isn't really a good idea, EVE drones have limited AI. they are no brighter than the average kitten rocket. and even then they still go rogue. i dislike drones, even though i am gallente and have loads of drone skills.
I'd call them close mixtures between the missiles and the auto targeting missiles in eve as the do attack enemies that aren't locked quickly, but they can't prioritize targets so they would go after a scout when a dropship is feet away from you |

if anyone is going to control drones it's most likely going to be the leader in the MCC.
Again, it's up to ccp but i could see a gallente sidearm that lets you give commands to small drones |
