Put the 'defend' objective on himself, which is a great way of keeping a squad of randoms together, assuming they know what it means, as you get so many more points for doing activities near your squad leader! Props to that dude! |

Props to that dude! I played one yesterday where my leader put it on me - was weird running around, getting chased by a bunch of other dudes/dudettes. Did help me stay alive more than the usual 17 seconds :D |

This is what everyone should do! It's beautiful! As a random, I love running around and following blinking things on my map, I approve! |

In previous build person that have that circle on him self didn't get the bonus points - did something change about that? |

I, too, have used this as a squad leader. It's a nice way to help your teammates score bonus points ... and it helps gain that all-important orbital strike capability. |

A lil tip that goes with this, find the best player on your team, put it on him. The better he does the better you do as a squad leader. Don't have to be near them, set and let BEASTMAN rack up WP for you! |

Whenever I'm on comms I sit there telling squad leaders to do this over, and over, and over. Unfortunately, people are painfully stupid. |

Props to that dude! The exact opposite is happening to me!!! Squad leaders who don't have a clue or mics or are unable to read simple messages like 'Promote me to squad leader, you will get more points'.
Kinda frustrating... the sooner I get into a corp the better because all these randoms are costing me a fortune in ISK and Points. |

Curious: Do you prefer that people simply set defend orders, or you OK with squad-leaders that set Attack and Capture orders? I use them to get people to move to NULL cannons* and actually capture them, instead of using them as a camp-site waiting for red dots to show up.
*: Also use them to get people to capture other installations, since a depot can be useful at times.
oh, and D'Finn, stop killing me constantly.
