actually cant believe a OB is your solution, but anyway 1v1 battles still go on. just without as much strafing. and even without strafing the battle with more people still flies, happend to me just about every game i played. with strafing, i still have to think about charging up on the guy around the corner, for all i know he has a shotgun or something and i dont dare just run right into it |

for me its in every game i play, sometimes me and this guy are duking it out all by ourselves until his teammates or mine come to help. i still like i said before, am able to dodge to an extent. so its cool. this stuff is unavoidable, even if your standing still it's unavoidable unless you stay in the red zone / MCC all day |

many players play this game, you have to expect theres gonna be someone around the corner, and you gota be careful even then. using cover helps, but for me strafing does the same. in fact, if i couldnt move fast enough, getting to cover would be an issue. there has been lots of times where "getting in cover" has been an invalid factor for me, just because i couldnt get there in time. and i do use cover. usually when im fighting vehicles, installations. or when im about to die. thats just all normal and common sense if you ask me
oh, and even though your not moving left and right in a fashion.. the idea for strafing is to dodge bullets, your always dodging bullets when you sprint away from the shooters bullets or when you strafe behind cover, all cover does is allow you to take a breather before they come in and storm you |

I use it all the time for anything I do.
you still have to worry about someone storming your position, to me it still does nothing but give you a second to breathe from all the gunfire i mean thats why you use it right? to avoid getting shot? but once someone comes in there, the tactics change up especially if you're on something important |

well anyway all flaming aside;
i use cover and strafing. as i said before.. strafing can be a tactic all on its own. you're not dodging left and right to look silly or take advantage of anything. your just avoiding your opponents reticule and you'll do that no matter what unless you want to die. taking cover is just another form of it. i've seen some people use neither cover nor strafing and they died quickly.
if he strafed he would've lasted longer, if he used cover, he might have had an advantage over me since my bullets don't go through walls.
when people strafe they are trying to be unpredictable. because if a person can assume where hes going to go hes going to shoot there. and if you cant change directions fast enough, your gonna get hit. |
