So they moved the logos to the front and the loading after it which is nothing major except for the fanfest vid they have decided to whack on which was a great idea and should stay there permanently, it explains how DUST came about in EVE lore so its a great start
Mercs quarters basically the same layout as before, a few symbols have changed to match EVE
I do like the marketplace changes which show you what skills you are missing but also that you can buy the skill books and use them while staying on the same page, still nice and tidy tbh
Dropsuit/vehicle fitting also have the marketplace shortcut so if you are looking for something you can find it buy it and then go back to the fitting screen which is a nice touch, annoying tho when it asks you to go back after you buy something every time
The new skills and mods i havnt really had a chance to use at all, ive looked at the active shield hardeners which tbh have 2 sets of stats and contradict each other so they will need to be tested unless CCP fix them, also the prop mods do not seem to effect the speed stats on a tank aswell so dont know if they work will also need testing and the stats also look lolworthy due to boosters being in effect for 30sec but cooldown is 0.5sec
Also the skill levels have been dropped but so has the SP gain so its all in line, doesnt seem too bad atm i can deal with it im playing for fun anyways and not really bothering about stats, ISK wise im rich *****
Gameplay has improved mostly due to the build being more stable, also hit detection is improved and scouts no longer are invincable
The new installations are awesome, laser rifles dont look too bad either and overall graphically its fine and for those complaining about at distance that ppl look like black blobs i dont care gameplay>>>>>>>>>>>>>graphics
My clone now has a bit of weight to him like he stacked up on bacon and cake, even the scout suit is fast at running but jumping no more so bunny hopping is out of the window
Mass driver got a buff and no idea why because its just like the demoman on TF2 no skill spamming so i might abuse it for easy kills
You cant spawn on objective which are being taken now so no longer can the dead just spawn on the point and **** the 1 guy taking it then again now that 1 guy can take an objective in peace so now it means all objectives need to be protected which lol randoms dont do
OB strikes way too easy to get, in the end a game is decided not by objectives but by which team can spam the most OB strikes to kill the clones. Needs a cooldown timer on them tbh and if you boost in the spawn then you can get alot of em so may also do that so CCP realises it needs a cooldown on it and its pointless to move out of milita stuff because OB>all atm
Spawning in the MCC rocks as you have to jump out
Grouping works damn well atm for me, nothing like the last build and corps ive yet to test out
As for milita gear can be bought with AUR its fine, cheap and unlimited and does a basic job and its what im using atm but to do the job better use ISK items
Overall another good build for me |

I actually find this to be a drastic improvement, as soon as we can the corp issue is over I will absolutely love it. |

Biggest annoynaces so far OB spam and mass driver spam but you can kill mass driver users from boosting and using OB which i may decide to do because why not and hopefully CCP with hotfix it fast |

Im now more of a logi guy, i seem to get more pts and isk for it and im able to do a few diff roles at once, im norm a scout at the very start of a match and sprint around hacking everything but my sniper and assualt fits are rarely used now and i still stick with milita stuff because why not
So i have a gunlogi and twice ive lost it to being dropped out of the game which takes the ****, but the last game i played i managed to use it and did quite well with it 13/0 statswise and a few ppl tried to drop OB on me but i escaped quick enough and didnt get much damage on me, the prop mods im not sure about and dunno if they even work tbh since the stats dont change and i dont see much of a difference in speed when i did manage to test them out
Sprinting is improved, once you sprint you sprint until you turn it off which is nice
Boosting you cant do solo its not worth it i get the same amount of SP playing the game so i dont bother since i cant be arsed
Yet to make a corp, mainly because im saving up isk still and i keep spending it on skill books
Did railgun installations get a buff? they seem to be able to kill other turret installations in 3 shots
5point skirmish still dodgy at times, rarely play the 3pt skirmish which is smoother i think but since the changes to spawning on the point the game can quickly turn to all points being capped so the enemy spawn at the back and it makes it harder for them

These hard freezes/ game kicks are costin you and me both tons of isk, dam near all of my isk really. Thought id let you know your not the only one. My grenesis or w.e the gallantte ship is called has been deleted by hard boots TWICE in the last 3 games. That was all my money. Anywhoooooo i Also wanted to let you know that Zion TCD is recruitining and wed love to have more active and good players (:
(also i dont know of any true tank drivers in the corp atm, im a pilot here :p) |

I completly agree with you.
Just some more things :
- Instant Battle fail sometimes : launch with 2 other m8, being 3vs0 on a skirmish 5 pts, and no one joined except when enemy MCC's armor was under 30%... Well, we hacked everything with a scuad lead defense order on a mate. We cumulated 5 OB... DIdn't make any kill...
- Don't remember if you said it, but the slow strafe is just awfull, but if I have to deal with it, i'll do...
- Server crashed at 15h GMT. We don't have access to audio tchat. Hope it will be fix after maintenance.
- We just can't wait anymore to test corp battles !!! Hopefully it seems to be deploy next Monday.
The next blue-ray game which will go inside my PS3 isn't born yet !!!

Oh, and let me know how all that Mass Driver spam for Easy Kills is working for you. I can seriously **** guys off with a mass driver ( and hurt them badly) but kills are tough to come by. Just wait for MD Proficiency V and Weaponry V and hi end assault drivers. Then we'll talk. :) |

I tested the mods and i didnt see any noticable difference with the low slot torque upgrades or the middle slot overdrives which work like boosters
Just because i didnt call them booster mods doesnt mean i dont know how they work, i happen to read the descriptions on the mods 1st unlike others
Also i am an EVE player so yet again your wrong

I havnt even tried it yet tbh
Looks super easy to do and i think i just need the mass driver skill to test the basic one out but i may give it ago tonight since it shouldnt be too bad SP wise or even ISK cost anyways |

I tried boosting again and obv did well enough that i have a thread about it, if you have a 4man group doing it the way i was then its pure easy to do and also you can survive a few OB ya self too
If DUST is going to be a sandbox game then this is also classed as griefing and trolling your own team and really not breaking any rules that i know of, EVE pretty much allows anything and when Vile Rat died someone made an ingame chara asking for ISK to donate to Vile Rat family but it was a scam - ther is no bounds in EVE
But what about DUST? boosting does effect ppl involved atm, 1 side will get hammered maybe because 4ppl are in the spawn ******* about for ISK/WP/SP to lvl up a bit faster and gain more ISK while the ppl who played will have less or so it seems, sometimes the boosters still win the game
For me its a simple fix, really ther needs to be a cooldown timer for the OB so you cannopt spam 10 in a row, also another simple fix is to make it so SP/WP are not gained in the spawn and also raise the WP cap for OB to like 5k, all this could be done in a hotfix
It needs to be taken out of high sec i would say, in proper corp matches or EVE PVE matches i dont think ppl would do it tbh because accepting a contract requires an ISK payment and PVE should be fun and fairly easy anyways
Anyways i managed to test out the mass driver, or the basic one at least, traj is a ***** and direct damage works nice but splash is okay and 4 round clip to is meh to say the best, prob the 6 clip is better to use since you can cover a bigger area, i dont think its OP as such since it seems to be slow at firing but the better mass drivers may seem so as they have better stats and also the skills are also higher
The heavy and minigun combo seem more dangerous atm since the HMG got a big buff, i may also try out the basic minigun
Also nice we can frago about everything too but sometimes the wheel has a fit and it takes a couple of goes to get it right
Also in a corp now just to see how it is, the person who set it up liked all the icons you could pick for the corp such as skulls etc, i think we have a duck
But the main problem with corps is that ppl have to apply directly to it, it seems we cannot just send an invite to ppl which would make it easier tbh for getting in ppl who you know, the current system works for EVE well but because this is an FPS it needs to be eaiser
Same with squad invites, seems to be the long way around but that could also be because it loads slowish, you cannot invite from local instead it has to be from your contacts list meaning you have to add someone before you invite
Swarm launchers seem better, also sound better like most of the guns do they sound like guns for once, the missiles do not fly to the deck now so a simple bump cant just blow them up

Well. that's actually a good analyze that i share almost fully. I would be a bit more harsh regarding the movement nerf. And Hit Detection has improved for sure but still feels funny from time to time. You dont seem to play with KBM so you couldnt notice that it is now acting funny. More sensitive but not really stable.
Overall, game progressed but gameplay feels off to me, mainly because of the movement nerf.
Regarding your suggestions for WP farming, it's been suggested a bunch of time already and CCP is already working on something. |

Im broke again
I just love my tanks but finding out quickly that they are next to useless not due to AV but due to WBS (Warbarge strikes) and its not because of ppl boosting them its because they are generally easy to get and are instant damage when you call it in
The tank itself is slow but the damage the WBS is massive and tbh makes me think where will OB strikes fit in if the WBS can do it all to begin with
As for skirmish is sorta getting tiersome tbh since once you cap a point no one else can spawn ther to try and defend it, sure it promotes teamwork maybe while you try to cover all your points but once its hacked your screwed unless you run 200m to it
In fact i think it should be changed back, it was always mental when 5 enemys spawned on your 3man crew capping a point it made it a challenge to cap it or at least defend it long enough for it to change hands so then you could spawn on the point as they are taking it
Plus it made the battle more fluid and gave options to the attacker and defenders instead of as it is now in which the defenders can only defend one point if the other 2 are taken since they can only spawn ther while the odd group will try to ninja the other point
It can also kill the game early, grab each point 1st and its game over tbh, sure you can come back but its alot harder than it was before since ther is next to no resistance
Ive also reached my SP cap it seems, only getting 300SP per match as it is now and i was only getting maybe 5k before i did try out the boosting so i pretty much hit it in normal gameplay it seems. I think eventually they may increase it after they fixed the obv boosting which can mean you hit the cap in a day or so |

Equipments exist to avoid anything... Teamwork is promote, but market too, and EVE style too ...
We need very very good specialists, but good "multipurpose" mercs too ...
Well it's all gonna be about A brake C, B brake A, C brake B and D has to be in to make the "balance" ...
