First off it is pretty. CCP did a great job enhancing the effect of the impact of the forge round.
It is now MUCH harder to get direct hits on infantry and to splash them. The forge gun now feels much more anti-vehicle and anti instillation.
Does anyone know what the splash range was last build? I'm curious to see if it's been reduced. |

Dude! I got forged gun twiced last night! Once from across the map and the second time in my face! I dont think its harder to hit infantry with a forge now! And just so you know I dont suck, I went 22-10 in that game. |

Archon... I had 3 guys trying to forge gun me one match they could do it. Though I couldnt snipe them back either the experimental sniper rifle is extremly difficult to use. |

I didn't say impossible. You can still get direct hits, but it seems that the hit box for when the forge round directly hits infantry has been shrunk. I need to do more testing though, so I can separate hit detection issues, new forge mechanics etc.
Also a BIG plus is that the forge gun is now always scanning like when you ADS on other weapons. |

Oh forge guns on my 3rd character. I'm going to level up all 3 characters with different sills. So it's liek I'm leveling up faster. I can put all of them in the same corp. I will have a forge build becuase those are amazing.
The separate sp caps will make it fun to level up multiple classes at once. I'm going Heavy Sniper/forge gun *use vita to swap during battle*,+24% sprint speed laser scout +remote explosives, flux gernades, and Proto Logi. Because it has crazy fittings. |

I specilise in forge gun only, it does seem a little harder to get splash dmg kills with it though.
I did notice that the protoype forge guns get a bigger splash now though acording to the stats info. To really get splash dmg to work you need to get to a vantage point and shoot down.
Got the most funny kill ever last night, was shooting a turret in distance and instead of hitting the turret it hits some guy in the face as he ran around this corner right infront of me lol. I think that was you archon! |

Nice shoting dude! I gotto give ya kudos! Not too many people can touch me when I get going! That was epic the way you flucked me over. The first time I had no clue too! I was WTFing when that happened.
