CCP, I defended this beta in good conscience since i joined it. I defended it from people who complained about the graphics or glitches with the understanding that it was not meant to be polished or bug free, it was meant to be a somewhat stable build of the game which could be played to find exploits, bugs, and balancing issues. Currently, however, there is a issue that I find inexcusable, even for a beta. The issues I have been having with the game's battle finder are unacceptable simply because it is irrational to have given us access to a beta with the expectation of having us test it, when it is a struggle simply to play it.

For this reason it is imperative that you release a hotfix for this issue immediately. You can't sweep it under the rug like other issues the beta has had, the freezing issue for example.

Zzzzzzzzzz finding and having bugs that don't let you "test" the game IS part of TESTING A GAME. Bitching that they arnt fixing thegame so you can test it is stupid. The fact that they have a problem that you found for them to fix is you testing it. You are doing nothing more than bitching that you can't PLAY. Shut your mouth and know your role.

Personally playing dust is awesome but it is far more a priority for me as a beta tester to break the game every way I can. I would be tickled pink if I could break the game and help them find bugs and only actuqly PLAY one match at a time. Its silly bitching about bugs now. That's like working at McDonald's and bitching because they make you take peoples orders. What did you expect from a beta test?

If that was aimed at me, well, a working download server is a pretty damned basic requirement for any game. Its not like the whole concept has to be remodeled for each game designed.

Except it does have to be remodeled because its not just a server for dust the fps its a server for eve aswell. Plus its the first day of a new build on a server that's never done this before on a platform that has never done this before so chill the **** out and be happy knowing you are doing your part by telling ccp that you still can't log in or whatever else you people are bitching about.

Actually genius, we are on the same server we were on for the previous build. It has done this before and the server has been used by CCP for testing EVE for at least 7 years (that I played EVE for).
Yes, the platform has not been used for this previously, correct, however the last few builds had the same problems, though not as bad, yet nothing 'seems' to have been done.
Nobody has infinite patience.

Edit: though the fact that the feedback and bug reporting threads have been spammed up by rubbish that is totally irrelevant to their intention probably doesn't help.

My bad you are right the requirements to run eve on the server is the same as a fps running connected toto a different platform and running that fps that interacts with eve on that same server also doesn't require anything new aswell. I suppose they should have just Copyed the information from the last time a game developer did this. You are right the code from the last 7time years from eve on sisi should transfer to a new platform and a completely new game design. And you are correct I incorrectly thought they had changed stuff from the last build like graphics and districts and other stuff to further link eve and dust unlike any other other game ever has. My bad
