Its sad that my first post its about sad things! but i must ask, wtf  i was playing in one of those maps with turrets and things you need to capture, i started walking towards a fine turret i saw at the distance, watching far away an enemy also approaching it, i got first to it and started hoping, i was saying to myself, HA! i will obliterate his guns with this nice turret, I WAS A FOOL!!!! not a moment where i got into the turret he shot at me two or three bullets and my gorgeous turret got obliterated!!! then the message appearted and said i got killed by a militia rifle, so, appart from my permanent fear to turrets made of paper, can a kind soul explain me what is going on
appart from that and the invulnerable guys running around i love the game! 
PS: DO NOT TRUST TURRETS!!!! |

My guess, is that he threw an AV nade or two your way, as well as shooting you with militia stuff. He might have gotten the final damage tick with his rifle, but 99% of the damage could have been AV. Who knows? |

i think he just shot you with a assault rifle, when your on a turret your stationary, and the turrets provide very little cover, unless you're in a tank.
or he destroyed the vehicle you were in |

I'd understand if they were grenades, even get shot, but in a second? The entire shield/armor of a turret can drop this fast? I've thrown granades to turrets before, but they stay with around 1/3 in the best of cases |

Av grenades specialize in killing vehicles, a frag will probably dent it at most |

That's strange. You could've encountered a bug of sorts. Did you say anything on Tech Support? |

you don't actually go in the turrets you stand at them. he walked up to where you were standing at the turret console and shot you

im really sure there was no one around except him and I, and maybe there are exploits or something, it only happened in that match, where there were also some weird stuff going on, like a bunch of those sky falling strikes obliterating everything all over the map over and over, and a few inmortals who ate my nades and a few mags until i died
appart from that match the game has brought lots of fun to me hopefully i will never see those inmortals 1hit killers ever again  |

idk whats up with those people specifically but, yeah if you was in a weak LAV and i had AV nades, your car would be toast within, maby 2 hits?. if i had one of those suped up nades, then itd probably take one. cause theres more then one type of AV nade. and those air strikes are orbital strikes, i learned you get them from gaining a ceartin amount of WP. and only the squad leader can use them. |

When you enter a missile turret, you don't actually "enter" it. You are actually just standing at the control panel on the side. When you entered the turret, you simply got on the turret and was standing at the panel which was probably within the line of sight of your enemy. Since you were standing still, all his shots landed and you took a lot of damage very quickly. |

one time my friend was firing some kitten rockets at a silly dropship and when it went down it said he killed 3 people with militia assault rifles.
i believe that kitten rockets are actually just left over militia assult rifles being strapped to a rocket . |

Well that's something that should be said somewhere!! I've seen other fellow comrades standing in the turret but i thought it was just a visual glitch, i didnt know that's how they work! |
