YES! thank you CCP for making the scope mode actually work now with the sharpshooter [at least on the sniper, the only one i could try before being bumped from the arena and can't log into a match now for four hours:(. . . anyways,
PLEASE PLEASE in the next pass of fixes, --> fix the sony-move controller config options:
in it's current state, it is almost impossible to jump with it being mapped to 'x' or 'o', since probably %99.9999 of dust players using move, will be using some kind of gun adapter . . . which means the ice-cream-cone will be stuck into the end of a gun barrel. . . which means the right hand has no access to the 'x' or 'o' button. . . which means it is nearly impossible to press the 'x' or 'o' while also moving the thumb stick with the left hand. - seriously, did you think anybody would go out and purchase a whole move setup and /not/ get a gun adaptor? who the heck would pay extra money to play a space shooter with a glowing ice-cream cone!?! [my apologies in advance if there is anyone playing Dust beta with an awesome space ice-cream cone. . .]
also- having the grenade throw on the navigator L2 trigger and zoom on the L1 is >> BACKWARDS! << It needs to be switched around. In every match I am throwing grenades by accident. I thought I might get used to it but it is just a bad choice for the button arrangement since L2 is so sensitive. then I tried killzone3 for the first time just to see how it felt to have the zoom and grenade throw swapped. . . it was infinitely better right away even the first minute of playing killzone, after using the DUST config for several weeks. - whoever the DUST514 controller dev is, he/she NEEDS to be forced to play the free killzone3 demo, and discover how and why the buttons SHOULD be arranged.
solutions : ======== a) make a config setting specifically for the sony-sharpshooter. [ the current config A and B are useless!!! ]
b) *best solution* make a custom config that allows the player to set the buttons themselves! <-- please do this. I'd rather set the buttons the way I like, and not be forced to use some bad configs designed for a way of playing that no FPS shooter would use. DUST is a SHOOTER, NOT a Sony-move tennis game! Arg!!!
. . . anyways thnx again for the current fixes -
