everyones entitled to their own opinions and thoughts. mine is simple: i should be able to dodge bullets flying my way. i don't know what real soldiers do in real life, but i sure as hell do know if a gun is pointed in their direction, their first thought is "get out of the way" but setting that aside cause as i said before, reality shouldn't be mixed with games.
not tryina exploit any bugs to gain an advantage. ive seen it in games like halo2. but strafing was defiantly not one of them. if you missed. you missed. if he dodged you. he dodged you. same result, different reasons for not hitting the target. No i don't want it to be like halo. this game already has some mechanics that are unique to it. and i like them, halo didn't have forge guns that f***ed everything up. it did not have energy shields for every vehicle. and rocket launchers in halo didn't bank turns on a dime when you locked onto a vehicle. and even now you can only aim at air vehicles in halo. that really sucks to me. if this game copied that. id be dissapointed. i might still play it assuming they don't mess it up entirely for me. but yeah. |

just want people to know, im not flaming them, just want them to see the FPS veterans side of why strafing is a nice skill to have. i like duking it out in a gunfight. gives a rush. who will hit who first? will you mess up and i hit you with that last bullet? or will you kill me instead? will i go left? is that a bad decision? are you aiming left? will you aim right? etc, its a bit more tactical then some people may think
edit: in some ways its like halo, in a lot of ways, it is not. theres more then what i mentioned. and i wont deny that this game does have some similarities to me |

oh god you mentioned shotguns, i forgot about those. if they come near you. well game over. if you can't move anywhere theyll just blast you all day long -.-.. |
