Same thing for me... It seems it has to do with server population, I think there just needs to be more skirmish servers. Since everyone seems to think ambush is crap, why not switch over some of those resources to skirmish? |

Additional information.
Rocky Mountain area USA
Game Client was booted directly, PS3 offline and completely cool prior to boot up.
Time in Merc Quarters effectively zero (just long enough to que for battle).
No additional actions taken, qued for battled without entering any other screens.
Time between que attempt and time out notification trivial, ~5 seconds or less in each instance.
Good hunting CCP bring this beast down

Retried using same procedure as quoted above, attempts at Skirmish resulted in the bug.
Alternated to Ambush, first attempt resulted in a successful game load with no ill effects.
Switched back to Skirmish, bug still in effect.
Returned to Ambush, no bug present.
To reiterate all of this attempt was from a single client start with no restart.
EDIT:
Eventually both game types ceased to function.
Additionally in the last game I played client lag was very pronounced getting visual stuttering and low frames per second whenever complex effects were displayed on screen (smoke, strikes, explosions etc.)
This is the first time I have encountered these issues. |

Getting this bug still @ 3am EST. Both Ambus & Skirm. Got into one ambush, then the matchmaker rolled over and went belly up.

The error is more frequent in older profiles... Create a new character -- That should fix majority of y'alls problems. |

Quick update on this, we have a much better picture of what is going on with this bug. We are still in the process of testing out a fix for it so I will keep you posted when we expect that to go live. |

Thank you for the updates regarding this. The lack of information from CCP during the early part of the last build caused me to rage quit until this build and it is quite refreshing to see you guys keeping the community informed. |

There is certainly some truth there, but the random spawning is some of the worst stuff I have seen in an FPS. Especially when you think you have to pay for your fittings, getting shot in the back on spawning is not a fun experience. |

Played most of last week with no issues, but today this bug keeps happening. its not right away, usually can play a match. which plays normal. then after that match when i try to que for another this error is all i get. if i log out of your server for 10-15 min, when i log back in i can get into another match but as soon as that is done then its back to the error.

I pulled out a character which I had not used since last wipe, after which I got disconnected from server during a match twice, kicked out from a match once and that "invalid label" when trying to join a match. The matches I managed to play were all with very few players (about 4-7 on each side).
I played these matches between 10.00 - 12.00 (+3 GMT), location being Helsinki, FInland. |

i still get the invalid Label of UI/quick match timed out message but i noticed its when either you are in a squad and either you or one of your squad members make it into a match but rest fail to make it and try to go into another match right after you get the message mostly for me it happens when i start a match and it will load in my squad mates but not me and i ask if anyone is in battle they say yeh or i get the message then i ask them and they tell me that they did in fact get into a match then thats about when i get it . from time to time im not in squad and try to start a match i will get it but its from time to time though . that or i will try a skirmish and end up getting it thats were it happens most often and a few times it will happen for ambush too . |

I got this one pretty much all day yesterday.
Edit:
And today.
I can play ONE battle, the next is always denied through this bug. I have to restart the game.
One possible connection, I can never see the leaderboard, not during the battle, or after. It just sits there with infinite load. |

Same bug for me. Sometimes i cant join because it thinks im in a squad when I'm not ._. and sometimes it just says: "Lost connection to host" and it goes back to Close Quarter ._. |

Had this message on both game types for about 15mins at around 15:30 today.
So, I had a quick mess around with my fittings & tried again for the sake of it and got in a game.
Hoping this was a temp glitch ... Although the posts above make me worry. |

I get it all the time. Even after a complete reinstall of the game.
Just now and about 10 minutes ago. Whenever I get it, I restart the game, as there are suddenly a lot of things that tend to go wrong if I let it be, and try later. Such as market purchases not showing up, and framerate glitches.

Have received this all day (with no error messages). Wait in room for battle and it drops out, sometimes after 20 seconds, sometimes a minute or so.
Not much fun
At first now and then, now every game. Got into 1 with a squad in the last 10 attempts.
Edit: 4 restarts of the PS3 during the day. |

Yeah it was terrible for a lot of us Australian/ New Zealand players today
