And we have a winner! All games say 1080, but really when sent to your TV they are 720.

Okay, let me share the education that I got the other day.

1. If a game supports 1080P, it will play in 1080P.......if you follow these steps.
1. You need to setup your display settings on custom, with everything de-selected except for 1080P and 480P.
2. The game will play in 1080P and look a lot better and of course be more awesome. For some reason the Playstation pretty much plays everything at 720P for the most part, if your display settings are set to automatic. The only downfall of this is the fact if a game doesn't support 1080P then you have to go back and change your display settings. Which sucks. THIS IS A PLAYSTATION ISSUE NOT A CCP ISSUE.

With that said, to the original poster, if you have never done this, then you have always played dust in 720P. It sounds like you got a bad download or something.

To everyone else, if you didn't know this, try it with all your games, I do believe you all will be very happy.

There are no ingame settings to fix this. i did not pay attention to what it was last. i wouldn't think they would change that? maybe it'll help with lag/frame rate issues, them lowering the resolution. i'm not upset. smaller screens wont notice a different, i play on a 24". what size are you on? i wouldn't think you would notice. i will update my second ps3 and check it out on my 47" and see how that looks.

Deleated it. no other games look like crap to you? you can always perform a video reset. with the console off (red light solid) hold the power button until the station turns on, beeps a few times and then turns off again. on the next time turning your ps3 on it should ask you what video stuff you want....

I believe Dust514 supports 1080i. When I switch to 720p, it's ugly.
