I'm going to make a list of game vehicles and speculate how team diversity will enhance the functionality.
Artillery -- LONG range mortaring.
-- I want to be able to fire from a great distance and rain hellfire upon the enemy.
Ammo types cluster - A bomb that explodes into a volley of smaller bombs covering a large amount of area
high-explosives - A large explosive... Large blast radius blows up anything in a proximity of area.
incineration - A troop only class of mortar shell, able to burn up anyone in a proximity of area.
The artillery tank should be slow and deployable -- That means in order to use its mortar function it would have to fasten itself to the ground... In order to get a percision strike. While mobile the mortar tank would be slow and its firing could be disabled or VERY inaccurate in aiming. When the tank fires it would light-up on map, but it would not always stay blipped on map.
Teamplay would require the use and elimination of this vehicle. It would be a slow vehicle and if it can fire while mobile... The enemy would have to be a few feet from the artillery to get a accurate hit at the enemy -- While a railgun tank could pluck it from across the battlefield... That would make the artillery really require an escort tank with it or require a lift to and from places... As it would be slow and take time to get from point a-to-b. Team would activily have to guard the operating mortar tank because as it was in deployed mode, mortaring, it would be highly vulnerable... As in order for it to manuver it would have to un-deploy. The artillery person should sit INSIDE the tank.
Eliminating the artillery would take the enemy getting to it and just blowing it up... Artillery is used for hitting a enemy heavy and pushing them back, drastically. A well defended and located artillery should be something that would have to be eliminated, AT-ONCE or the enemy could lose a lot of ground. This would be where scouting and recon come in... To get a team over there to get rid of the bombardment. |

Recon vehicles are important and make sense...
One person or two--While one person could do it alone, if they ninja enough--vehicles should be quick across the landscape. Able to dodge fire and cover ground with quickness... People often say quick vehicles are annoying they run over everyone. I think a quick vehicle should take damage if they try to run over ppl... It would be like a motorcycle conception.
The recon vehicle could get from the base to a deployed mortar and attempt to destroy it. A quick response team can easily turn the tide of the warfare.
Uplinks are useless... Why are there uplinks ? If we are deployed from dropsuit locations. We should come from the sky.
Actually, maybe there should be a counter-uplink... Something that keeps uplinks from working. Rather if it is control points or just some deployable, tower... There should be something that could keep the enemy back and require the team to destroy that uplink-distruption device.

Stealth and recon ninjas.
I think that you should be able to run, and gun invisibly... But where you fire shows muzzle flare and while moving you are slightly blurred. Also the cloak makes a humming sound. This would help balance it out. Instead of a shield, you would have a cloak and you should be able to switch from shield to cloak[May be exploitable] or just cloak.
EMP disrupts cloak as so does taking fire, So if you get shot while cloaked, you take a lot of damage, but your cloak drains away.
Unit detectors or radar jamming. I think that enemy shouldn't be on the map, unless someone sees them or there is some type of probe that senses out enemy. Possibly something that is opposite could work too... Maybe give the Logiks the ability to create a fog-of-war device to distrupt the enemies radar... EMP could disable that, briefly. |

Some weapons should require special suits... Like say if you have a tesla gun(Like in the game Red Alert: Yuris Revenge) you should have to wear a suit, but with these type of guns you can't get into vehicles or you can't control vehicles.
I think the heavy is pretty weak -- What if the heavy class was carrying a turret as a weapon... WITH the option to deploy the gun into a stationary turret. That would give more ability and team utilization for the class. |
