Perhaps I've missed it, but I've been looking for two days. I can't seem to find out how to do an Orbital Strike. I see guys doing it all the time in the game, but I can't figure it out. I've been looking on the forums, could someone tell me, or post a sticky, or something? Thanks in advance for any help. Haha! |

in the vehicle menu which is accessed on the D-Pad
you will only see the option after you have earned the OB by getting enough war points |

They're the points you see pop up on screen once you kill or hack something |

The devs won't tell us, they want to keep us guessing. Some good ways to get them fast is to put objective markers as squad leader. |

the number is secret. i'm sure there is a calculation or it may just be random depending on the battle. i know that in TDM our crew got on average 3 orbitals for 29 kills. |

Muahahaha! Well. Let's play the figure it out game. I'm gonna try to keep track of all the points in my squad, and see how many we get before we get one. (Small squad, cousin, brother, and me.) Shouldn't be too hard to count it up. |

Once integrated with Eve, probably with the release of CODEX, orbital strikes will most likely only come from properly fitted supporting Eve pilots in orbit rather than as an automated feature. |

I was under the impression that the NPC orbital strike from the war barge would be different, possibly even less powerful, than a marked and called in OB from an Eve pilot. Am I mistaken?? |

Maybe, or I am. If there is an NPC warbarge over every battle ground, I hope your scenario is how it works. |

i pressed right on the pad after seeing the box come up saying i had the orbital strike command or whatever... 5 or 6 times too.. but it just says no items... what menu is it it, what does it say etc?
the amount of times i wasted these strikes is getting beyond a joke now :)
so for leaners its.... right on the pad & then what? |

you need to be squad leader to use it
and after right on the D-pad you should see off-map assessments, after that, orbital strike. after that you choose where you want it |

thanks for that mate :)
i dont get time to read all the pop ups in the top right of screen but i have seen squad commander or leader prior to the orbital command box... i presumed i was then the squad leader... i guess i'll have to sacrifice a death to read it next time :) |
