Pure multiplayer. No single player mode. In fact, CCP made no mention about it and we have done absolutely no testing on it. That should be a hint to you.

Well they did mention they would have a singleplayer game mode (I can't for the life of me find the youtube video).

They said that it would be a 'player vs environment' game mode, and that you could play that way instead of PvP 'if you rather earn ISK/SP that way'.

I am pretty much just asking for a non PvP game mode, as I'm not great PvP.

Also when i say space battles, I mean being able to go in a space ship with weapons, and control it. Kind of like the only space mission in UT2004.

Kind of like the only space mission in UT2004. Try searching under Fanfest Keynote Dust 514. They may have mentioned it there. If you're talking about the rogue drone horde, that might be it but even then you may need a team to help you because rogue drones tend to come at you in large numbers. And who knows what kind of AI those drones will have since CCP is currently making changes to the AI in Eve Online.
