i feel bad for dropship pilots and armor tanks lol shield hardeners but nothing for armor? no chaff/flares to aid against swarms?
pilots had a hard time before, doesnt seem like they got much love :/ |

Not that I know of. Shield hardener modules might help us out as well as the propulsion mods. We will just have to see how bad they really hate pilots. heh. Minor tweaks has me somewhat apprehensive. Hope for the best I guess. |

I was told we'd get landing gear and reduced knockback from missiles and that might be part of the handling changes.
The Mass Driver gets a buff against LAV's and Drop Ships. So now we have to swarms, forge guns, AND mass drivers to worry about.
My biggest disappointment is lack of mention about SP for acting like a transport, so presumably we'll need to continue acting like a gunship to get rewards. Or maybe they just left that out of the notes.
Shield hardeners might help, though it remains to be seen if they will counter swarms well based on activation/cooldown time.
Afterburners will be fun to play with, but as a gunship only useful for running away from forge guns and mass drivers. I'm wondering how hard it will be to keep from redzoning using it too.
No chaff/flares mentioned so I don't expect them. Maybe that's the function the shield hardeners are supposed to play, i.e. see the missile launch and activate the Hardeners?
We'll have to see what changes were made to swarm missile tracking too, as that will make a big difference in the ability to out maneuver them.
No Pilot Suit is disappointing. |

Well they did say they "tweaked" dropship controls
Judging by the last time they "tweaked" dropships, we'll probably be flying giant disco balls covered in bacon by tomorrow morning.

weaponry is a 1x skill tho, can max that easily and should be one of the 1st skills maxed tbh :/ |

I was under the impression that there already IS armor hardeners. |

These are active modules. No word on stacking penalties if used in conjunction with the passive modules though. |
