But the important is not really know who is the best or the worst, probably the best is to find nice people willing to teach others and willing to have fun, because in the end of the day, any video game is for have fun with friends.
In the other hand I'll appreciate if we refer to other players with respect!
Cheers!
The MAG players can't help it, it's in their nature to bicker like children. Since, I've joined, however, all of the hate and bravado are coming from non-MAG players. Hence, this thread I see that a lot. Yes it happens on all sides...but a lot of the crap about MAG players and why we're worthless is coming from players from a game that isn't even an FPS...and they want to tell us how to play a genre we already know? They wonder why many of us don't care for them...yet, when we say anything bad about them they devolve into crying and insult-throwing while claiming they're better...Real mature... dubs it died down quite a bit on this build all the trolls went on hiatus then news of the new build they all came back like flies on ****. sad really. phoenix, kiddies comming from 1 shooter they played a few years makes them an expert in that field? so with that logic a doctor, carpenter, mechanic, or any other treadesmen who passes their classes and goes out into the field is a master in their trade? games are all different and change with age EVE ppl know the system and the game FPS ppl are just trying to rub one off like a wannabe jersey shore episode. Horrible analogy...nice try though.
"A nurse is able to be a good nurse, but can't perform brain surgery" might have been a better fit.
This thread is just to stir up trouble and you know that, but yet you jump right on the wagon as well?
I'll say this about Dust in general: -EVE players know the mechanics and politics -FPS players know how to kill the enemy -MAG players know how to work as a team to beat the enemy -All this combined has me interested and excited about the full realease of Dust |

Had a chat with someone today, who just wants to fly Dropships. That's all. Wtf are you playing an FPS? Or the guys who repair you while you fighting. Bececause their bullets aren't worth firing apparently according to them. Because "they're not good".
Well, get better or go play the sims. Only way to get better is try.
I am still shocked friendly fire is off in high sec. That is one thing which puts MAG clans off. We sometimes stop firing so we don't shoot our team. Whille being able to kill the enemy is important if you know anything about real combat you'd know that the support roles are just as important.
That being said Dust looks to be working towards being the game that comes closest to real coordinated combat. So those support roles in which the players heal you or fly you around are going to be just as important as your ability to run around killing clones.
Good luck winning a game without any pilots/medics/drivers/etc.
EDIT: I will say though that a FPS player does need to be a bit more rounded than just healing or flying so I agree they need to practice and try to get better, but I wouldn't tell them to go play the sims. |
