It's great that I can now identify who needs a revive and that I know someone is nearby to pick me up. But sometimes that person is either not interested in healing me or is preoccupied. I end up laying there, waiting for a healing I might not ever get. This ends up in wasted time and people laying on the ground, clinging to life and a false hope.
I purpose a way for folks with injectors to let an ally know there's nanites in his future. Because let's face it, most players won't use a mic. The easiest method I can think of is aiming at the flashing "heal me" icon and pressing a button to confirm help is on the way. Of course if the healer dies then the target is informed. |

That does create a problem. Maybe if you hold the button down so that all icons in said row display in a small list with distances next to the names, then aim at the one you wish to inform. |

Been pondering the issue and I think this can work.
1. Aim at the possible row of icons and hold down button.
2. List pops up with names and distances.
3. Highlight then select target by releasing button.
4. Revive ally on arrival.
5. ???
6 Profit! |

Seems workable enough to warrant trying. I fully agree that the current system needs something to make it more effective and intuitive. Thanks for raising the issue. |

I can see this working. Maybe piggy backing it on the quick select squad command system? |

Now THAT is a good idea. Give the squad commander the authority to order an injection on who he thinks is highest priority. |

Cool, I like it.
My original thought was to allow anyone to use that quick select squad command system for declaring their medical intentions. Of course the "Rally, Capture, Attack, Defend" commands would not be accessible to standard squad members. |

There could be a command that requests a medic be present. For those really hairy shootouts. And maybe a repair request command for vehicles. |

Having distances on the revive request beacons like on the null cannons would be helpful for the medic to figure out where to go next. |

You have time in a firefight to go through a list of names and buttons? I'm usually busy fighting for my life then screaming at how switching to my nanite injector takes too long as I race for the nearly deceased.
If there is a process it need to be simple and fast - that said switching to the nanite injector should be faster or not even needed, just getting to them and pressing a button should dot it. but not this topic, sorry. |

Agreed the weapon switch wheel needs improvements especially when it comes to injectors, those few extra seconds between a clean switch and one that "doesn't take" can mean life or death for both the Logi and the guy on the ground.
Perhaps we could get the nano injector to be like the Nova Knife from last build, in essence as long as you have one equipped to your fit you don't have to switch to it before use. |

Trying a small improvement, perhaps something as little as adding distance counter to fallen friend's icon would help to navigate to him? |
