Just want to ask if your are going to stick with the idea that the guns shoot pure energy, meaning it dissipates and becomes nullified as a threat past a certain range, or if you are going to put in a bullet drop sort of thing and say that the guns shoot plasma which solidifies after being shot, and becomes less powerful after a certain range and drops.
Its just really annoying being a Logi, and having useful equipment but an SMG, and seeing enemies run about that I can't hit because it has the range of a shotgun (also, shotguns IRL do have a longish range, just sayin). That and the hit detection has pretty much made all my classes use shotguns, HMGs or tactical rifles cause I can't seem to hit anyone with anything else.
Talking about issues, when is the next big update coming along? I am really curious on what it brings. Hope it brings a singleplayer game mode (although doubt it). Hope it adds weapon customization too, like having weapon fittings, which you can put into your dropsuit fittings. |

I have issues with ARs. I can't seem to hit anything with them.
I prefer games that have auto-aim/snapview-aim and the guns are pinpoint accurate, or like brink, borderlands or BF3 (I think) iron-sights are 100% accurate and its just an area of where the bullet could hit. Because things are mostly far range, the iron-sights are pinpoint accurate, and ARs don't have a large magnification, I seem to miss every time, and close range doesn't really count, cause at close range the game abides by the general twitch-shooter law of 'who ever has the fastest reflex wins' I have terrible reflexes and prefer logistics and helping rather than shooting. |

Well then is it possible to do that with ARs? I would LOVE to put a sniper scope on an tactical AR and put into account bullet drop while defending a target.
In that note, can you guys do a king of the castle game mode? Where you take over a hill, hold it, and whoever gets to 10 minutes first wins. It would be great to have that, call down walls/cover or maybe turret installations and hold it with snipers. But alas, its just wishful thinking. |

You understand that they won't be having map packs, but have assets they will put into randomly generated planets.
They will just have to put into the code that gravity and therefore bullet drop changes with maps too.
And why only minmatar weapons? Surely pretty much all weapons would shoot hot plasma that solidifies, or they are large projectiles anyway? |
