How many of you would use an XBow if there was one?
I am thinking about something like a sniper rifle but at closer range. It would be cool if we had an XBow that we could retrive the ammo back once we kill the enemy.
Not sure about the long term uses of it but it would sure be a fun thing to have! |

I don't think some kind of energy melee weapon would be out of the question like a sword, but a bow is just silly. There is a reason army's stopped using them for projectile weapons when guns got made. Swords and nova knifes makes since because guns are less effective at melee. At range guns always wins vs bows and arrows.

Ever tried the Mass Driver? Its fires a nade that travels a parabolic path. If ya dont know what a parabolic path is;- google it!
Any who! Imagine having a XBow with explosive tips or something like that. It would make a great AI weapon and AV weapon.
The options are endless! The challenge is limitless! Frankly speaking after trying out ALL the weaspons in DUST 514 and scrubbing the floor with most of you, I am looking for a challenge!
The only thing challenging that I ever dealt with the trying to take down the fluffy chihuahua aka bad furry! But after the tank nerf thats boring. |

Why would an established universe have a knife but not a XBow?
