Yes I experienced the same thing a little while back and the hotfix resolved the issue for me. |

Depends. The bug was indeed patched. However, if you are put into a squad or move into a squad during a battle you will remain in that squad after the battle until you manually leave it. That is a feature. The bug is if you then manually leave that squad but are unable to join a battle because it claims you are still in one, even though you are not, then you've got a problem. If that's the case, report it to CCP asap. |

It would not let me leave the squad and would not let me enter a new battle until I restarted the game. |

Interesting. It may have just been a typical connection issue. Like when you lose connection (without an error message stating so) or are about to go invalid you typically cannot leave a squad or send a txt message in a chat window but usually if you try to join a battle it will freeze requiring a reboot. If yours didn't freeze then you've got a new issue not seen before as far as i know. If it froze then that's typical.
If you rebooted and it still told you you couldn't join a battle because you were in a squad then that is the squad bug that was 'supposed' to be resolved.
Either way, you should send in a bug report with as much detail as possible. |

I'm getting a burning itch just thinking that STD (Squad Transmitted Disease) may still be occurring. I've been pretty promiscuous with my squading lately assuming the vaccination worked. Multiple partners, not taking any precautions, you know just total reckless fun. I frequently have 3 other people involved at once! I'll start being a little more careful, maybe limiting the amount of strangers and sticking with only those i know so if something doesn't seem right i can get in touch with them the following day to ask if they're clean. |
