Air strikes should be launch able from a carrier in orbit just like a bombardment but cost less war points just a simple fighter strafing run |

Fighters off a EvE carrier would be much more damaging then precision strikes. They are meant for much larger targets and would often miss something the size of mcc. EvE fighter is more like a B-52, V-bomber, or Tu-95.
Maybe light combat drone strafe would fit op suggestion better.
Grey area for term I think, if something leaves orbit and attacks from within atmosphere is it an airstrike? As long as drone/fighter enters atmosphere before firing, I think it would be airstrike. |
