When planetary battles have any effect on 0.0 systems (and us), then maybe it will have GSFs attention. As an alliance, the only reasons we go to hisec is for the occasional trade or the burning of a trade hub. The only reason we go to lowsec (where FW is) is because the FC is drunk and the fleet is bored. Throw in the things in Cerebrals interview and there you have it, Dust offers no reward to a large 0.0 alliance but adds a risk of espionage. I would guess that other 0.0 alliances are having the same reservations to investing anything into Dust either at this point.
As to the importance of Eve corporations to Dusters, not much right away. Hisec is crap, and offers very little in the way of resources worth fighting over. Lowsec is only marginally better. When and if Dust progresses to nulsec warfare, that's when things will get interesting. By then, the 16 vs 16 tiny map brawls will be long gone. Fighting for territory in Dust will be very real and very expensive. Thats where the few Dust corps that get into the Eve political landscape will prosper. That's also where GSF still holds a significant advantage. The matches may be even in numbers, but when a merc corp has a few billion ISK to throw at a planet they want to hold, who cares about losses? Where will the hundreds of billions come from?

It isn't hard. It does not exist. You seem to have the mistaken perception that anyone other than yourself is impressed with your list of PS3 accomplishments. Goons more than others are well known for being terribad. Funny how we are the most influential alliance in the game being as horrible as we are.
Show me your list of accomplishments in PC games. Better yet, as Dust is the sister of Eve, list out what you do there.
We aren't coming into your world, you are coming into ours. Dust may become a power within Eve, but at this point you are nothing more than a curiosity and though you think you might be a badass, you are a gnat. |
