Would be nice if they added equipment that could be placed somewhere that would send alarm when triggered by enemy. Of course whoever triggered it would hear it go off also, so they would know that you know they are there. What are your thoughts? |

I don't mind this at all in general. Motion sensors in Planetside 1 were pretty useful. The only thing I'd say is that they should have some kind of a counter themselves. Maybe if you shoot them before they go off, while making them relatively small like REs? Or if you move past them at a slow rate, like the proximity mines in Splinter Cell? But yeah, if someone wants to sacrifice an equipment slot and the ISK to drop one or two motion sensor type things I think that could be okay. |

Honestly not a bad idea, would go well with some remote explosives. |

I would love this feature on the condition that they change the radar system. I think a game like this should not have a radar that is default on but have equipment that allows it to work. Examples....
Have the radar only work with a particular module. So not everyone would have the radar however teammates with this radar could help out in some way like maybe if a teammate has someone on radar then you can see them in red on your screen as it is now.
Another example would be that you have to have radar installations. These would have limited distance but you could build a lot and always see people within the fields the same way the current radar works(I know people aren't always visible, I just mean they use the current system) Then radars could be destroyed for added tactics.

It would definitely need a counter, the move slow thing is great, it would add to the whole "sneaking up on a sniper" feel. But since we dont have the ability to move slower I wonder if its impossible to add.
Edit: we dont have the ability to move slow, do we? I geuss I have never tried/noticed. |

Not sure if meant to be sarcastic or not. But I for one enjoy games that have a lot going on like this because if ends up forcing people to learn different parts of the game very well then come together just like in real life. Also, If you were being sarcastic please tell me why you don't like this idea beyond complexity. |

Not sarcastic, I am with you on the complexity. More strategy is better, imo. |
