As most teams now have their own introduction thread, it only made sense for us to do the same and introduce ourselves a bit further. '' What The French ! '' is a team borned from the merger of several French clans from MAG that were already cooperating to fight Clan Wars under the tag [COQ].

When MAG ended up dying step by step, i offered those clans to merge into a single entity in anticipation of Dust 514 as it, in my opinion, would be the next big thing for large clans to get invested in. After many discussions, What The French was born ! in September 2011 and became the largest Francophone community of MAG players. Expecting Dust, we fought on BF3 and MW3's battlefield, we served justice (or not) on DCU and discovered the vast universe of EVE Online, creating there the official corporation that would harbor all of our mercenary when the time would come.

Our creed is teamplay, solidaruty, fun and victory. We may not be obsessed with our own private performance or seek to be the most leet clan out there but we have many talented players, others ready to take bullets and die for their BIA and most of all, we have resilience : As long as we can fight, we'll hurt you with everything we got.

Comme la plupart des corporations ont d'ores et d+¬j+á leur topic de pr+¬sentation, nous nous devions d'avoir le notre et de nous pr+¬senter un peu plus en d+¬tail. '' What The French ! '' est un clan n+¬ de la fusion de plusieurs clans fran+ºais de MAG qui avaient l'habitude de jouer ensemble des matchs sous la banni+¿re [COQ]

Lorsque MAG a commenc+¬ a mourir petit +á petit, j'ai propos+¬ +á ces clans de fusionner en une unique entit+¬, en grande partie afin d'anticiper l'arriv+¬e de Dust 514 que je consid+¬rais +¬tre le prochain grand FPS int+¬ressant dans lequel un clan aussi grand pourrait s'investir. Apr+¿s de nombreuses discussions, What The French naissait ! en Septembre 2011 et devenait ainsi la plus grande communaut+¬ francophone issue de MAG. En attendant Dust, nous avons combattu sur les champs de bataille de BF3 et de MW3. Nous avons fait r+¬gner la justice sur DCU et d+¬couvert le vaste univers d'EVE Online, y cr+¬ant officiellement la corporation [WTFR] destin+¬e un jour +á accueillir tous nos mercenaires.

Notre cr+¬do est teamplay, solidarit+¬, fun et victoire. Nous ne sommes peut +¬tre pas obs+¬d+¬s par nos statistiques personnels ni n'aspirons +á devenir le clan le plus leet de l'univers mais nous avons de tr+¿s talentueux joueurs dans nos rangs, d'autres pr+¬ts +á encaisser des balles et +á mourir pour l'+¬quipe et surtout, nous avons de la pugnacit+¬ ! Tant que nous pourrons nous battre, nous ne l+ócherons jamais rien.

Will be a great corp.

A french war clan may be ironic, but a French war corp such as this is far from it. We all play on one server, attached to a game where one of the biggest powerblocs was nursed to heath by a french alliance (Tau Ceti Federation anyone). I'm still waiting for the influx of RUS players though, so it comes as a bit of a supprise that the french got the jump on em.

This new universe is big but who get the biggest share of the pie Clans therefore form: submit or be submitted. War is declared the universe. Join us in wtf. .

The French have centuries of successful military tradition under their belts. Why do you think they've managed to hold on to such a large area of land for so many years despite all these unfriendly neighbours? Yeah, great, so they were in a bad state in '39 - '40 and the Blitzkrieg rolled over them. What about Napoleon? What about Charlemagne? The Hundred Years' War? Ypres? Verdun? The rest of WW1? People making jokes about France from a military standpoint are just making a show of their vast ignorance of French history.
