It will only kill noobs since it will likely have some kind of delay to it, it will also likely only one hit scouts. This just means when you kill someone, you need to watch out for any audible or visual queues that they're about to explode, and get the hell out of dodge. Also, this HAS to have friendly fire, I will laugh so damn hard the first time I see someone sniped while near their buddies, exploding and taking them all with him
I for one thing the T bag defense mechanism will be a fun and interesting addition to the game, and this coming from a CQC guy. |

You'd think, but smart bombs are anything but in EVE. They damage anything and everything around them, so you need to be really careful with them. Plus, you can't use them in High Security space without alerting CONCORD (I believe, can anyone confirm?) |

I think you're hanging too much on the light description that they've given us so far. I for one reserve all judgement until I actually see how the damn thing functions. It will likely have high CPU / PG requirements, meaning to put it on a cheap suit would severely gimp you, and putting it on a good suit means you're guaranteed to lose that ISK as opposed to being revived. I think it will be fine, I'll STILL ghost up on people and merc their face off, bomb or not. |

Sci fi jihadding. once one gets' close enough, you're all going to die.
I would rather not see it be implemented at all.
I'll laugh my ass off, personally. Like I said, there will likely be a slight delay. I dunno, the reason I do so well is because I have very strong positional awareness, so once I know their blast radius and warning signs, they won't be much of a threat. Also, the AR users in my squad will hopefully be paying attention and killing their face off LONG before they get in range.
I think it's going to take a highly skilled dropsuit pilot, or really good / bad luck to make these things actually work in the grand scheme of things.

Which means it'll be strong enough to down a heavy.
Dude, there's been next to no actual information on these things, you are seriously getting ahead of yourself on this one. |

Post your source, because all I've seen is a single line translated from IRC that said it will take out infantry. It didn't say how much damage. It didn't say what kind of blast radius. It didn't list stats. It was just a tiny little blurb.
Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill >_< |

So what you're saying, is you're mad that testers are going to have to ::gasp:: test?
