I'm so sick of hovering still next to a sniper literally landing the drop ship right behind him and my gunner just spraying bullets everywhere around him not hitting him a single time. How much do you have to suck at aiming to not be able to hit a guy one meter in front of you? I've resorted to using my drop ship as a roadkill weapon because my gunners are so stupid. I've never had a single good gunner. Ever. I have more roadkills then I've had assist from people gunning for me. So give me the ability to boot the moron's butt into the out of bounds area every time he spawns in my ship so I don't have to deal with him. Here's a real example. In a squad with my buddies, I spawn in a drop ship and take it over enemy-held B on the map that has the two buildings that launch missiles at the MCC's. There are about 10 guys shooting at my allies and my squad. I have two gunners. I let the first one go at it, he rains down the missiles at the bunched up group of enemies, missing every single shot for about a minute of hovering. So I'm like screw this, time to give the other gunner a shot. So I swerve it around to my right side which is equipped with a blaster. I let him shoot for literally two minutes (How the enemy did not see us is a complete mystery, I was hovering to the right of B like 10 feet in the air.) And he does not get a single kill. That was a possibility for 10 kills in about 5 seconds if I had been the gunner and a pilot had been hovering like that. If you prove to me that you can kill at least two people one inch in front of you while in my drop ship, I will give you a $10 PSN card. Because from what I've seen it's impossible. Srsly though I usually use blasters or missiles. Don't worry, I know if someone can't shoot someone 5 meters in front of them, they can't shoot a tank with a rail gun 5 meters in front of them either.

The problem is that blasters and and AR's are too accurate. Plus you have to take into account how the dropship sways, hitting anything is hard. Mouse aim most likely works better then a controller. That's why I use missile turrets AOE kills. Blaster might work better on big targets like tanks and other dropships but for infantry I wouldn't even bother setting up shoots.

Two basic things right there, I always use missiles, I have a "Dedicated Gunner" who's good with them but also any random players that shoot for me are able to kill quite a lot as long as I give them a clear shot. I find it impossible to keep the Dropship completely still, so a Blaster is no good and a Railgun is only used for me when there is a vehicle out there, even then its easier to just chase it down with missiles.
