Not in the slightest. Either you'll be in carebear land (high sec) where having loads and loads of funds will likely not be as important, or you'll be in Null / low, where you NEED loads and loads of resources.

If you had a character that's existed since the corp battle, you were supposed to get the bonus. Also, the post from the devs was clear that "all corps" would receive the bonus, not just players who participated in the battles.
Oh you're just talking about the first one, not the rest of them. ::shrugs:: The point remains, this game is going to have a massive player base. It'll fluctuate, sure, but it's gonna be massive.
