Hello CCP, im Beta testing your MMOFPS, I notice there is too much MMO flying around in the mechanic. Please can you go back to the drawing board and make the game more friendly to Solo players. It is after all a MMO....
Im bbored and in work and enjoy lol'ing at strange requests...

Its general discussion, and i'm generalising your request and responding with my own opinions, i do appear to have got the correct forum. On the other hand your op seems to fit more into the Feedback/Request section....
What "we" want is kind of irrelevant this is CCP's game and vision, it is designed to fit in with Eve, to be a team based shooter over the control of planets nothing in the design stikes me as solo orientated.
You can lone wolf, some of my higher K/D games come from games when im lone wolfing agains the "blob". Its easy walk around the back of where they are targeting your friendlys, take a few out with headshots from behind, and run to a safe location while your red dot dissapears from the radar, then rinse and repeat.
The whole point isn't for 16 players to squad up and pick off lonewolves (which is kind of what your asking for), the point is 16 mercs duke it out with 16 mercs. That sounds fair to me. Competition isnt a lonewolf, competition is fairly matched entities fighting each other and unlike alot of players i stay around and fight against overwelming odds rather than looking for the quit match button and then whining on the forum that a solo player cannot compete with a group of 16... |

Funny that. 24/7 players obviously enjoy the game for what it is and don't usually dictate it should be a certain way.
On the other hand bads pass themselves off as casuals and try to dictate how the game should be made.
Just putting it out there both side know who they are even if they won't admit it...... |
