Dust is not an unborn fetus, that might have been the case years ago when Dust was just an idea. At this point in the development it's an underachieving highschool student destined for a uneventful life in a protective workplace until he dies from drinking the green stuff under the sink. Though it still has chances to redeem itself with either the next build, the official release and/or the 2013 0.0 expansion. I liked most of the beta, however this build was a complete failure because of the stability issues alone.
That being said, the one thing Dust has going for itself is it's tie in with EVE. If it wasn't for that, I don't think a lot of people would be paying attention to this since the FPS part is about average, even for a f2p. But there's a new build coming soon so who knows, they might actually serve some awesome sauce with it this time. |
