You're not supposed to enjoy playing the beta. Not really. You're supposed to be testing the game for flaws and issues so that the developers can release the game with as few bugs and problems as possible. You're supposed to report the problems and issues you are having.

This is not my first beta, I know what beta is about, but you are missing the point of a public beta (wether closed or open): people are not paid to play. Their willingness to play through crap can only bring them so far before they just give up, which is starting to happen. You say "deal with it"? I am; I stopped playing and I am posting why.

Your points are all valid, but you're not telling me anything I didn't know. The important part is that despite it all, I stopped playing because it started becoming a chore.

You obviously don't have any idea what playing a beta is about. If you have issues post them in the bugs/troubleshooting area. If you want something to change in the game that will make it more playable...put it in the requests/feedback. Yes, at time's playing the beta can be a chore, but that's part of the development process. Keep in mind that this is the first time CCP has done a FPS type game. You are expecting it to be less of a chore? There are matches that I play and have so many issues, it could be my ex-girlfriend, but I expect it. There are other matches where the gameplay is phenomenal and I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of it. If you don't want to play, don't. Just don't come on the forums and cry about what you think is wrong about the game. There are any number of aspects I could complain about, but I save those for where they belong....

To test we need information as well as passing information on. The only time we learn anything is from other testers who have to go out of there way to glean info from ccp , they should not have to do this ccp should be bending over backwards to pass stuff on to us. I to haven't played much this build the game seems to be taking 2 steps forward 3 steps back. This is the only beta Ive ever been in where the dev seems to not want contact with it's testers on it's own forum, so when you see posts like this it's pretty easy to understand why testers feel this way.

Have you read what it says on the bug report forum ? Please do not post about bugs or issues use the report feed back link. Pretty strange for a bug section don t you think. Yes it's the first time ccp have done a fps but the people they have taken on have done a few between them they even have an old BF dev on team. And why not post on here about the way you feel, you never know ccp may actually come and read it one day but I wouldn't hold my breath.
