Whats yalls take on a logistics dropsuit, built for sprinting and a shotgun..
had my first positive match last night with it.. went i think 9 - 6.
Also i love the iron sights on the shotgun, wishing there was an option too get iron sights on AR's |

When i use a Logi it tends to have a shotgun, typically you're not alone as a logi, if you are you're playing wrong so a shotgun makes sense. |

Logi equipped with a shotgun is a good shout, but I don't think it should be built for running around and going on the offensive.
I would instead, concentrate on armour reppers and making sure you have enough CPU & PG to equip the support gear that you will need to...you know...support the team.
If you were going for an offensive shotgunner, then go for an assault or scout imho. |

Ive tried the "support role" I grew tired of chasing people with the repair gun... running up too an Injector icon on my minimap only to have them respawn without waiting for a nanite injection to revive them..
Like i said earlier, this was the best ratio ive had in any match 9 kills 6 deaths..
Granted it was in a team-death match that was inside the complex thing.. Not a big open map..
I think its a great close quarters kit my self |

I usually use Smg as Logi. This gives close range power to the guys I'm trying to keep alive since they usually have AR. Just and attempt to diversify squad loadouts. I do still rep and revive though. |

Unfortunatly Logi's are slow, even if you equip them to move faster, it goings to be tough to use the shotgun effectively with it. If you're interested in running a semi support role with the shotgun, I actually suggest you try using a Scout suit with either a repair tool or nanite injector. It allows you to move around quickly while still providing some support and able to handle yourself in a fight.
You wont be able to run a full gambit of support fuctions due to the lack of more gear slots, but its very effective. I generally pull a 3+ KDR with it, all while keeping the armor of my teammates topped off. Trust me, Heavies will LOVE you if you're zip around the battlefield repairing their armor. |

I use a shotgun in the logi suit, as for the sprint speed, it has only been slightly annoying trying to keep up with assault suits. Besides, if they need reps, the smart ones double back a bit. If not, ta hell wid em. I've had decent results with an SMG but more times the shotgun has been perfect for a red that rounds a corner right in time for a face full of buckshot. Usually a one shot deal, plus you should have buddy backup.
For the nanite injectors, I quit carrying them altogether because of people despawning. The hives, repper and a cyno have been way more useful. When I get Min logi V and get a fourth slot then maybe add one. I've also had good luck with twin passive armor reps in the lows. The suit itself can take *most* sniper shots, and quite a bit of AR/small arms fire and have enough time to duck and let the buddies kill stuff. The armor reps to full in less than 20 seconds, and its a good time to throw the remote rep on the point guy. It definitely doesn't do well all alone though, and having a sprint mod for when you spawn randomly could be useful.
Congrats on the kills. If I get one or two in a match I'm happy, more aiming to keep the losses close to zero. You mustr have been in some heavy fighting. |

I've noticed this as well, and I'll admit I've been guilty of bleeding out myself. It stems from the fact that 95% of the time when I see a Triage unit in the area....they never come to pick me up. Literally had Logi guys standing on top of my body, and just run off without picking me up. I think this has basically led to the death of nanites being used in pub matches....even so when you're running with an actual corp I know we'll see a resurgence of them. Hopefully. |

Great idea. If more assault fits used injectors, maybe more people would end up waiting for a revive. At 60 points a pop and clone reserve counters, it would be just fine if they weren't nearly a complete waste of an equipment slot.

Its why I use the repair tool more to be honest, you can always find someone to repair...however it works even better when someone gets revive and then you repair the missing armor, now THATS how its supposed to be done. |

And trustme, this guy knows his way around a shotgun scoutsuit. Pokey, you prolly don't remember but you and I had a stand off this morning or last nite on the plateaus map. It may have been around the B objective area.
I was logi (smg I think) and you were scout shotgun, you had just finished off one of our guys and held the hi ground while I was trying to line up a shot...you pausedbehind cover and then leaped up into the air, over head and landed below & behind me, spinning shooting and my mouth was open....
I just laid there bleeding out and saying to no one in my living room," damn, nice kill." |

haha I remember you! Yeah that was a tricky situation, I was not in a very good position because I know you had me with range so I was trying to move in without getting totally torn apart. You almost had me to, good game! |
