A lot of eve corps and alliances are filled with incredible people with amazing abilities, if you've ever found a clan in an FPS impressive imagine 500+3000 players who on their own are smart lead by people who are super multitaskers with 3 or 4 degrees from some European university and on the side hes a Russian oil baron.
I've often been intimated by the intelligence and RL experience of eve players, take goonswarms late chief diplomat he was an actual real life diplomat deployed in Libya, I believe i don't know much about him but that's what I'm assuming, if not I'm sure there are plenty of other examples. |

they probably are one of the largest I should say alliances with 500-3000 people, im not sure if there are any groups with more then 3000 ppl if there are i'd say there isn't many, the vast majority of players in eve are in much small corps apart of big alliances or none at all.
But im just using goons as an example I by no means think you should worship the ground they walk on.
scale is more like an alliance of that size is made up of 10+ corporations with anything from 50-500 players in each corp.
Last alliance I was in had 5 corps, 1 or 2 of those corps making up 90% of the alliances population. |

Just wait and see I wouldn't despair over it, you or your corp will gain connections with ppl from eve, because a vast majority of eve players aren't going to step out of their dreadnoughts and battlecruisers, they'll just pay you to do their dirty work instead, unless the scale of battles in dust is going to rise dramatically its still going to come down to platoons of good FPS players doing the work.
If it comes down to hundreds of players running in a large blob at each other and shooting 1 person at a time per some guys orders, fps players might be in trouble, but i highly doubt it. |
