I'm totally amazed by te game itself. I mean, it's a brilliant idea. And character textures are great! but the landscape and machines; buildings and more really suck. Are you improving these aspects in future versions? Hope you do. Congrats for your game!

Hmm. I really like some of the architecture. Highways and industrial areas. And prefer this non-candy pallette some people dislike. |

They are relatively non-textured landscapes and characters for the beta testing. Final polish and rendering are typically the last to be applied before official release. |

Yea, of course it's going to improve. Faster download for the players and more importantly much faster for the devs to work with, move files around, make changes. Less load on the server when they upload new data, less strain on their system when they're previewing and testing. Plus it takes a whole lot of coding to get pretty graphics to run well, even for a standard spec'd machine like a PS3. These graphics are probably so far from the final product you won't even recognize it when they're done. Once people stop falling through the ground, then they'll make it pretty. |

Whatever PC or crazy internal PS3 build they run to get the screenshots/make the videos for promotional purposes demonstrates that the game has the capacity to look quite good. As for the architecture and so-on, well, bleak industrial settings are going to be ugly and bleak I guess. It's appropriate to the setting, but hopefully their next set of terrain types is a lush, agricultural world with blue skies, flowing fields, peaceful forests, and bubbling brooks. Dust and dirt and harsh skies and cold industry gets a little overbearing. |

You weren't in the pre E3 build were you? I don't recognize your name. Anyway......had you have been then you would see how much its improved graphically. I personally like the graphics as they are, especially some of the lighting. But yes the graphics will improve (but graphics don't make a game bro), the textures etc are low right now because so the file is smaller to download. On full release the file will be 10x the size, trust me.....you'll see |

(Please don't missunderstand me I love this game, I'm just a bit dissapointed) Graphical improvement is a guarantee, but don't expect Battlefield 3 quality or anything. This game still has to be able to support a few hundred moving objects on-screen, and performance is far more important than visuals. |

It's not like PC games, alot to work with when developing for a pc game. Consoles have limited hardware to work with ex. RAM and that alone could effect FPS (frames per second). When in the battle center right before you select to go into battle i was amazed at the graphics BUT when on the battlefield i was reminded that this is a console game. I don't know if it was connectivity but notice lots of stuttering while i was playing at 5am this morning and i only got to play for 20min and it was my first time playing the game. When it was not stuttering i was surprised at how smoothly it did run but then when battle intensified stuttering became a problem. Never playing EVE before on PC i was quite lost really. What my objectives were defending and capturing what? 15min -20min of gameplay anyone would be lost, ill have more time to tackle it when i get home from work tonight. I think this game has the right idea but the platform from which they are building on may be a waste of time thou. Maybe next gen for MMOG but this gen not so much, hardware being the downside here. Maybe for this gen incorporating consoles with F2P games like TF2 or AVA and Black Light Retribution would run nicely....maybe. |
