That's interesting actually because "Pubbie" has become a very common, well used work in EVE.
The funny thing for us is that pubbies use the word pubbie unironically. They really do have no idea what it means. |

My bad. Within Eve, I spend a lot of time lurking in a blockade runner dropping SBUs, forward staging towers, or ninja Rorqual stuff. With that time I'm usually answering questions in the Help channel. The least helpful answer I see people offer up as a solution is "Google it".

Well i sneaked into goons thu a back door to help out with the 200+ Bob POS's you lads had to take down after you won your cultural victory over them. I really wanted to be part of that since i had a 5 year old grudge I needed to settle .
Got kicked for proxy use in the end I think (might have been my terrible posting also) but was really only there to bash on bob with a few of my dreads chars to help lighten the load.
Really liked what I saw in goons tbh and like to think I took away somthing from the experiance. |

To overcome this, I'd say we ought to start using abbreviations for most common items.
For instance using 3-4 letter abbreviations. For the sake of people using the controller to type, it might not be a bad idea for CCP to start adding 3-4 letter abbreviations to some of these.
ASLT or ASL = assault.

PLT
like I've seen some do for races (though at a glance, GAL and CAL look a little too much alike)

Too many to list. Dust seems to have a much tighter filter than many places in Eve. Outside of the kiddie pool, local chat is generally considered to not be "work-safe".
