First of all, either I fail at the search bar, or it only pulls exact matches and/or no one has asked this question.
I'm just curious, how do skillpoints get tallied at the end of a match? Specifically, if a logi is constantly rep'ing and never kills anyone, does he get points for his rep's or what? |

You get points for team heals, revives, or when people use your nanohives and drop uplinks. You can also hack to get points like anyone else, and if you get a hit on someone with your SMG (or whatever) then you'll get points for the assist if someone else kills them. |

SP gained is largely based on how much you helped the team. This is based on the number of WP you gain. Reviving a downed merc will get you +125 WP, Team repping will hit you in blocks of +15 (+25 if your squad leader has the defend order on), resupplies are the same as team repping, putting down a Droplink will get you +25 per spawn. I run a Logi, and I can do quite well in SP, last night I had a 0/0 game that got me 50k sp, 250k isk and 5x Eryx salvage.
I run a suit with Hives, Rep, Injector. And another with Hives, Rep, Droplink. I know people say that Logi's shouldn't carry Hives but far too often I hear over comms that a Merc is bingo ammo and no one around has a Hive to drop. So I happily soak up all those tasty WP. |

Yes.
SP is awarded for a few logi actions.
A rez pays about 60.
Ammo resupply pays 10 per use, some math behind that one but it adds up.
Remote armor repair pays 10 per some amount repaired, again it adds up.
I have had matches where I had squat for kills, but plenty of logi work pay out 60, 70k sp without squad leader bonuses. |

anything that gives warpoints, will translate to skillpoints. so yes, a logi with no kills would still potentially get points.
that being said, you won't help anyone if you're dead, so don't ignore the whole "shoot mans/keep self alive" aspect of the game. if i got to pick what logi bro was standing next to me, i'd pick the one with good tank, a solid gun, and a basic repair kit over the guy with paper shields, a peashooter, and a bitchin' repair kit.
i'd rather someone that can help me win the fight, then patch me up, over someone who WOULD be able to patch me up 10% faster if i managed to win the fight by myself. |

I'm a full logi, i got the nanohive, nanite injector and repear tool. Sometimes a drop a uplink at start.
I get easily more SP then a guy you got 15 kill when i got 4 or 5. 
by the way everyone you is not logi with 1 equipement slot should put the injector and leave the other stuff tio the logi! |

I buffer tank my Logi suit. 2x shield extender, 2x armor plates, (and since I',m getting the Aurum back soon anyways) I do the GEK Killswitch AR (I think thats the one) Quantom Nanohive, Injector, and Triage rep tool. (I came in late to teh game and made some mistakes with skills, like lvl3 sniper when I suck) |

Killswitch has a 0.5 increase in accuracy but otherwise the same stats as the cheaper and easier to fit blindfire. At least from the visible stats. |

I haven't run as an actual logi for a while but I always keep some logi equipment on my suits to help my team or get extra SP. Basically if you see me in an assault I have a nanite injector and if you see me in a scout I have a nano hive.
Extra HP on the assault really helps get in and get people out and the scout just burns through so much ammo I made it a standard. |
